The standard of refereeing in this country is embarrassing. Why the fuck have we not got video appeals yet?

It was that bad it looked like the linesman did it just to give Sunderland a chance.

Fuck video appeals. I don't want that american bs in this game and it wasn't needed in this situation. I just want the refs to be fit to the job. The majority obviously isn't at the moment.

It's same old gang every time that can't keep up. Michael Oliver is the only one who's doing a really decent job. It's not difficult to undestand why that is.

Could you imagine that offside, in the same circumstances, was given against Mourinho's Chelsea. Fuck me, we'd truly never hear the end of it.

I bet you nobody at our Club even bats an eye lid. Some of the most shocking wrong decisions in prem history have came against us to. Mendes goal at OT an obvious one.

When you get a performance from the linesman like that it really is hard to not think some have an agenda

One day it will come out about massive corruption in the English game

He's performed miracles with the majority of players he's got to deal with.

I know this may be odd, but I'm super pissed off that the goal wasn't given and it's kind of tarnished the win for me a little.

The lino should never work in the PL again, at least. Absolute incompetence and pathetic. I can understand getting some decisions wrong as it's a split second but for me this shows a total lack of understanding of the rules. For all the money he earns in a week/ year and he gets a basic decision like that horrifically wrong

Foy should be relieved right along with him, look how got damn close he is lol that is ludacris
Foy is a consistent offender and Hackett called him out the other week. Its about time he was disciplined. Not just for crimes against THFC either

It's really weird as well because when I saw the keeper go up I thought to myself, it's about time one of these got sprung and punished.

Absolutely, and what we should be doing is screaming blue murder about it. We act like doormats on and off the pitch too often for any Spurs fan's liking.

He looked young/new when they zoomed in on him earlier, I assume it was him anyway. Discipline, yes, but he shouldnt lose his PL job over it

The Officials today are allegedly better trained, fitter and better paid than ever, yet they still seem to get the simplest of decisions wrong. :cautious:

Not in own half. That would mean pretty much everyone would be offside as soon as the keeper comes up for a corner.

exactly, if that was the rule you'd just send the gk up for every corner as just about any forward pass to start a counter would be offside

Poch should do his nut after the game - practically refuse to answer any other questions and just demand the goal be credited correctly and the official sacked. Obviously he won't, obviously the goal won't be credited etc, but I am really furious and for once I'd like to see the club actually make a stand against this blatant corruption/incompetence.

Worst collective performance I've ever seen from a team of Officials today.

Good job it turned out none of the decisions effected the outcome.
