There you go.

Think avb will go for dawson instead of kaboul as i think we are taking it slow with him after his long absence 2 games in a week might be pushing it

I was at the Palace game, Vertonghen was injured at the end, same ankle as pre season. I will be amazed (and pleased) if he starts. Expect Kaboul and Dawson.

Im up early and off to the lane in a few hours, funny because loads of new quality players should be pleased. Cant help being a little sad that after last season, no more Bale.

I expect a tight game with Swansea playing 8 at the back, 1-0 to us and our new strength and power all over the pitch to wear them down. I hope Townsend starts. COYS

Firstly I hope Townsend's performance on Thursday earns him a start, and secondly I really hope Sandro, Vertonghen and Holtby all at least make the bench today.

If i'm not mistaken isn't Andros on a 3 match ban for the betting?

The Tottenham Hotspur winger, who became the first current Premier League player to be punished for the offence, was handed a four-month ban on Tuesday by an independent regulatory commission, three months of which were suspended until July 1, 2016.

Townsend has avoided missing the start of next season, with his one-month ban backdated to May 23, the day he withdrew from the England squad for the Under-21 European Championship finals in the wake of his FA charge. He was also fined £18,000.

Very excited about today's game and gutted its bit on tv!

Think we'll go pretty much the same as Thursday night with Jan coming in for Kaboul and walker for naughton. Really hope Townsend starts!

And hope the crowd stay with the team throughout as well!

Okay, since it looks like Verts, Holtby, and Sandro are not fit enough to start, I want to see this:

Lloris
Walker Dawson Kaboul Rose
Paulinho Kapoue
Lennon Dembele Chadli
Soldado

THEN, have this starting line up on Thursday against Tblisi:

Friedel
Naughton Dawson Fryers Rose
Sandro Carroll
Townsend Holtby Sigi
Defoe

AVB could give BAE a go as a "goodbye" game for him... :cautious:

Must rest Verts to ensure he's good for the long haul... COYS!!!!! (y) (bring back the clappng smilie)

Bit early in the season for all this "must win" bollocks isn't it?
I don't think so. Every game should be "must win" if we want to be contenders

It always puzzles me that people consider end if seasons games as "must win" but you never hear that about early season games. Points are points, Swansea at home is a game we should be winning, because we should be better than them, so for me regardless of when in the season it is its a "must win"!

I think AVB will start Lennon and have Townsend on the bench today. That's not what I'd do if I were in charge, but that's what I think will happen.

So title winners go all season winning every game? I think people are misunderstanding the word "must".

Nothing wrong with aiming to win, but saying must win implies that if you lose it's all over, which is why it's aimed at the end of the season normally.

I want us to win, I hope we win, but if we don't it doesnt mean our season is over, therefore not must win.
