Lots of complaints about the stadium, tactics and team selection, but if you're looking for someone/something to blame, how about the thing that really cost us the win today: Mike Dean. We should have had at least two penalties.

75% possession, 26 shots, 11 corners, 5 penalty appeals, hit the bar etc. We may not have been at our best, but we really didn't play badly. The only thing that was missing was us hitting the back of the net and the ref making fewer awful decisions.

Tbh we had loads of possession but just didn't use it well at all. Hoofing the ball into the box every minute, but then stopping that immediately after Llorente came on made no sense to me at all. Can't say we completely deserved the 3 points today because it was all so lacklustre

I never want to see 3 in the back again against these shit teams, that play for a draw and then celebrate it like they won the World Cup. It's utterly useless. Dier also shouldn't be starting matches like this. Play Winks instead. Poch got his team and tactics totally wrong in this one.

I hate watching Wembley from TV. It always looks like we are playing at night even thought I think there is still some daylight at the beginning of the match? Is the roof always covered??

Give me some sunlight for fuck sake!

A draw against relegation candidates not good enough. Expect to see alot more of that bullshit football at 'home' from the likes of pulis.
Pochs selection didn't help either, especially the wingback decisions. I also think son should've stayed on and alli could've been sacrificed.

Robbed by the ref. Definite penalty at the end. Actually we were bloody awful, so slow, looked completely devoid of ideas against the packed defence. we deserved a point at best.
It should have been out of the ref's hands tbh, we had more than enough attempts to bury Swansea.

Also, Sissoko has been marginally better but trying to fit him in somewhere all the time is just hindering us now.

Just why was Son subbed, our most likely source of scoring.
This was my biggest issue with our transfer window. Against teams that just sit back we need players then will run at defenders and get them to commit. Son is the only player in our team that does this and its not good enough. We have been crying out for a fast player who likes the ball at his feat since Bale left. I was really not surprised we couldn't score espechially after he was subbed. I know we had bad luck (pen) and poor misses (Kane crossbar) but even so, we need more then just Son. On another note Llorente will be an awful signing if we continue to use him like this. He was a waist of space as we didn't supply him with jack. Poor day indeed.

Son was defo lwb first half mate. He was deeper than alli until.he started roaming forward. 2nd half it switched up but that wasn't my question
Well yeah, he was deeper than Alli because Alli was playing off Kane. Everyone but Kane was deeper than Alli. But whatever, agree to disagree.

Sissoko did bail Sanchez out in the first half and he put one on a plate for Kane. He did better than some of ours.
Agree but he's not suited to teams sitting deep. He flummoxes and disrupts more than he bails out, assists, scores or contributes to the cohesiveness of the team. He was better than Alli but Alli's put some credit in the bank while Sissoko is still queuing at the food bank

One penalty, and that was the Aurier situation. The handball(s) was not a penalty.

Underestimated Swansea today, should have been our best 11.

Frustrating.
I wonder if Poch is being honest with himself that he really did underestimate them.

Should have brought Aurier on at halftime. I don't know how close to the red line Davies was, but Trippier on the left was awful.

I think the biggest flaw with our performance was failure to execute the killer balls in the final third. Dier overhit several.

Wembley had nothing to do with it.

Totally agree.

But this kind of result won't help the talk.

It was so important to get a positive result after Weds.

Poch risked it to give a player a rest and give some players some game time.

With a midweek game against cannon fodder.

Fucking odd decision making from him.

The blame lies firmly at his door.
