The goal:

This one really seems to tick all the boxes: young, hungry, work rate, talent, playing style, wages, transfer fee. And we won't have to wait for him to be off at the Euros. Get it done Levy (y)

Levy will beg to differ

West Brom paid north of £10m for Brown Ideye, Hull did the same with Abel Hernandez, the spammers did the same with Enner Valencia and don't even get me started on Ross McCormack...

This summer, prices will only go up for Premier League clubs. In the current climate £15m doesn't seem bad money for Janssen.

Having said that we're just pulling figures out of our asses at the moment... Cue him being slapped with a £25m price tag.

Tidy player from what I've seen. I'd like to know how someone like Harrison would fare in the Dutch league though.

He looks a good player, but I'd rather we spent the money on someone a bit pacier. He looks like Kane, which would be good if we didn't already have Kane.

Seems like it's going to be either Janssen or Batshuayi as the latter has started to look like a more tricky deal apparently.

I think in addition we'll be looking to add a player like Calum Wilson who has more pace about him as the 3rd striker option. We do also still have N'Jie though who everyone seems to be writing off before he's even had a chance to get going.

Don't think we will be getting Wilson too. He would never play as 3rd Choice

If we want to dine at the top table and stay there, we will have to shop at Harrods or at least Waitrose sometimes instead of Poundland.

Of course i agree but that is not how the club policy works we target a specific age and value of a player then purchase with possible sell on value for the future.
We all have to get real on Our transfer business as it saves a lot of heartache and anger come the end of august.

Prices will soar this summer. United are probably rebuilding, City likewise, Klopp will want to buy, Chelsea have a new manager coming in, Arsenal have already started, and Barcelona are also very much in the market for defenders (thank fuck we more or less have that area sorted). The quality players will be in very high demand, and they will have good options.

City have just splashed out £20m on a German with a worse injury record than Wheelchair and Anderton combined, the market has gone mad, i would be surprised Janssen is less than £25m
