On paper we should win all five. But we all know better don't we? Stoke and West Ham will be tough.

No chance of getting fourth now. I expect to stay where we are

Just looking to next season. New manager (again). Frest start (again). Renewed (false?) hope

I think from here the players should simply be trying to redeem themselves, and prove to whoever is coming in that they deserve a future at the club.

There's quite a few who really need to pull their finger out and show what they're made of, and if we pick up a good load of results in the meantime then so be it.

They need to bring some pride to what has been a mess of a season and if in doing so they bring us closer to the teams above then we'll see what happens.

I won't be holding my breath though.

If we keep Ade and Eriksen fit and don't cock about in defence too much then we should be able to win all of them. We might even get to see Lamela (fat chance!).

But...I think WBA and Wham scream draws. Stoke away not too confident. Fulham and Villa should be wins.

The 5 games are all winnable, a top four side would be looking to get maximum points but when our coach virtually says the team can't get top four then the writing is on the wall and to be honest I don't think we deserve a top four spot.

Not going to happen, but let's stay positive. Watched the match with an Everton fan yesterday, and he was delighted they still had something to play for at this stage of the season. Puts it in perspective, really, we've been blessed with exciting, though mostly disappointing, ends to the season for many years now.

I can see us winning the next two with both Arse and Everton dropping points to make it exciting - but can't see us take 3 from both Stoke and West Ham away. I'm preparing for excitement and subsequent disappointment but happy to hang around for the ride!

you just know we'll go into the West Ham game within touching distance of the top 4 again.. Gooners and Everton will slip... and West Ham will beat us.. again...
and then proclaim their season to have been a rip roaring success having done the treble over us...

It's the Arsenal game that fucked us. If we'd won that we'd be a point above them now.

I reckon we'll get 10 or 12 points from the remaining games. Won't be enough for 4th but will provide a decent end to the season and a glimmer of hope for next season, where we can witness our 8th false dawn in 11 years.

We have to think we can win them all. West Ham are a problem for us but we should be able to beat them. Our record against teams other than the top four is highly impressive this season...58 points from 25 games I think...so the stats say it is a possibility to win them all

If we do get a CL, it may help to keep some of our players, and with LVG (Maybe) coming, maybe we can forget this season asap and so can some of the players and have better chance of keeping the likes of Lloris and Verts.

I don't think we will get it, but I wouldn't say no if we did.

Meh, don't care if they go or they stay to be honest, I'm tired about players bitching about not having CL football. Lloris is a class keeper but Verts is overrated.

Fourth is long gone obviously, even if we were to win the last five...Arsenal are not going to drop enough points to make up for it....and Everton would need to drop a good rate of points too although there run in is a lot harder looking than Arsenal's.

We could win the last five, but more likely to win 3-4 and a draw or two.

Could happen tbh. Sherwood's tactics of just purely looking to out-gun these sorts of teams has been pretty effective so far, its failing to adapt to the trickier games that has been the problem. Yes the line-up will probably be unbalanced, the performance unconvincing at times and some scary defensive moments, but we seem to be good for a few goals each game.

Now watch us lose all 5...

This mentality of fearing a team fighting for their lives is utter Cack.

They're fighting for their lives because they're shit and have been shit all season.

Sunderland fought for their lives last night by, from what I could tell, waving a white flag at us aggressively.

Look at the goal difference of Fulham ffs -41
We should be aiming not to simply beat them but to thrash them.
