At the moment I see our team for next season as:

GK/Robinson

Hutton
Woodgate
King
Bale

Lennon
DM/Zokora
Modric
Dos Santos

Berbatov
Keane

I would say we HAVE to get a new GK and I would also look to upgrade on Zokora, who I rate a lot but also believe needs some competition for his role, Veloso, Palombo etc.

Lastly, I would go for a good quality rotational CB, Coloccini or someone like that to offer cover for King and Woodgate and I would also go for David Villa, very small chance of getting him but if we could, we would have the best strike partnership in the world imo.

I think this is all dependant on the system we play next season. I'd say its likely to be fairly fluid, at times we will be 433, 442 and 4231 depending on the opposition and whether we are on top or chasing the game. For me the easiest way to work out what we need, also baring in mind our signings so far is to set the team up in a 433 with 3 midfielders and 3 forwards. The fowards are capable of dropping off into a midfield role and some of the midfielders are capable of pushing up into forward roles. To clarify, Modric is a midfielder, dos Santos is a forward. They are both versatile and attack minded, but this is where I see them doing most damage and where they are both most comfortable. They will also both likely play on the left if possible as dos Santos is left footed, and Modric prefers to play on the left. My 433 formation is the best way IMO to fit them in. I think it could work similar to Villa's system which has produced some breathtaking football this year, and baring in mind we have some much more technically gifted players, it has the potential to work really well for us. People will argue that its too offensive but it can easily become a 451 or a 442 with the versatility of the players at our disposal.

My sig pretty much tells the story. We desperately need an all round DM who can win the ball and distribute it competently. The attitude of this player is also key for me. A captain type would be ideal but players tend to grow into this role so you cannot necessarily buy one outright. The most important thing is that they have a 'never say die' attitude and like to get stuck in. We need to balance out the pansy's in our midfield(like Jenas). Senna was great for Spain and although we wont be able to get him, this is the type of player we need.

A GK is obviously also a priority. However, if we do not fill the DM postion properly then the defense will still be exposed and this time next season we'll be blaming whoever was in goal again.

I thought that last season when Ramos made tactical changes during the game,it took our players about 10 minutes to adjust to the new system.Thats why I believe that we will start with a 4-2-3-1 it is a far more fluid sytem and so simple to switch to different formations.
I really do think that Berbs will leave and that we will definitely buy another striker better suited to this system.Zokora and Jenas could definitely play as our 2 defensive midfielders because it is a limited and clearly defined role.
I think we will still play games at home(depending on the opposition)with 2 strikers
and Keano will play in those games - away from home we will revert back to 4-2-3-1
and Keano will be on the bench until we are 2 goals up!
