West Ham fans are a special bunch, they reckon we are arrogant but to a man they think they are on for top 4 and winning the Europa league. We are talking about a club that have won naff all since 1980 and have a manager that has never won a major trophy. They’ve never played champions league. They are an Antonio hamstring away from mid table mediocrity. I’d be fall off my chair if we aren’t comfortably clear of them in the league by New Year’s Day.

Oh the irony, if they took a look at what they were posting they would realise just how hypocritical they are being.
They claim we are obsessed with them and they claim that we have the most despised fanbase in the country because we are always getting ahead of ourselves and that we think we're a big club when we're not.

Let's have a look at these claims.
I have had a look at their Kumb forum and their posts about us getting rid of Nuno have reached close to 350 posts in less than 3 days and growing all of the time ! They even have a thread dedicated to his sacking. Honestly, would we have a thread dedicated to one single event such as the sacking of one of their manager ? Yes we have let's laugh at threads of clubs but that's general, not specific and over a long time, yet they claim we're obsessed with them !!!

Where is their proof that we are the most despised club and fanbase in the country ? It's true that we are universally disliked by many Arsenal Chelsea and West Ham fans, but come on, really ? How about the plastic fan bases of Man utd and Liverpool, new money clubs like Chelsea and Man City ....really ! If they realised that such a claim is solely based on how they and Chelsea and Arsenal feel about us collectively they'd realise straight away that such a claim was nonsense.

Then the claim that we like to get ahead of ourselves, they already have a thread on the Kumb website speculation on who is going to beat them to top 4. They've been in this place for 5 minutes relatively speaking and they're saying this already ! They also claim they are likely candidates to win the Europa League, yet we're the ones getting ahead of ourselves. If only they took a step back at what they were posting they'd see the irony staring straight back at them.......

The Payet season, all my West Ham friends were all about power shift and how they were going to take our place. I enjoyed watching many Spurs champions league games in their presence when it didn’t happen. They are the kings of getting ahead of themselves

yeah exactly what I meant.

See what happens if you mention that to them though - they all start talking about how they know their place and the reason they try to mock us is because we think we are elite. They then go on to belittle the League cup - a competition they have never managed to win.

Then in the next breath they start taking about finishing 4th and winning a trophy this season. They are comfortably the most deluded fan base. Just because they aren’t their usual steaming pile of shite for once doesn’t mean they are going to sweep all before them.

Id be incredibly shocked if we finish below West Ham. Over the last 5 to 10 years they've been around the position they are now at this time of year on numerous occasions (from memory. Father in Law is a hamer so you tend to remember these things) I remember them being top 4 in December, only to nosedive in the 2nd half of the season. Their squad isnt strong enough to maintain their current form. Always say the table isn't really worth looking at until Xmas onwards. Thats when the shit gets sorted from the quality.

Then they appointed Mourinho, clearly a bad idea without massive investment. They sacked him 10 days before their first cup final in years, which they lost. They didn't have a manager lined up which is why they ended up with Nuno and now they've sacked him after only four months. There's nothing to admire in this mess. They've now got a tired, uninspired squad, and gigantic stadium debts. If they do hire Conte he won't get the investment he needs and it will end badly. Also, they should have sold Kane while he was worth a lot but they missed that opportunity. It's all a very pleasing disaster.
