Arsenal Mania
  • nothing but feeble minded stupidity from holding....the kind of stuff that reminds you that you cannot rely on him
  • Awful night
  • Truly awful night. Real punch in the stomach
  • Disgraceful match. Felt bad like the CL semi final in 2009
  • Officials completely ****ed is here. Still don’t see what the pen was given for really?
  • Well that was ****. I loathe losing to that bunch. ?
  • Should’ve known it was destined to end in tears when arteta said “we can’t wait for the NLD” given his track record with entertainment
  • Away fans have deserted
  • tonight is Sp**s Cup final and they get rolled over by Burnley

When was the last time they finished above us? And it was our cup final? Jeezus!

Thanks. What a prick. He's proud of his players and, when asked what they need to show in the next two games to get CL, he says what they showed tonight. Muppet.
I’d be happy with arsenal showing what they did tonight - mental fragility and the ability to capitulate while looking comfortable. They almost did it against a 10man Leeds who tried their best to throw the game

Two Woolwich fans who have bought the game up today have gone both barrels on the "softest penalty call ever" and "That ref was a homer" route - I asked, if that had been the other way around, would the Woolwich player have stood up and said, "Nah, hold up, ref, that's a bit soft - no penalty, lets play on".

Yeah... Yeah, course they would've :D

The third is much more reasonable - shitty night, they cost themselves the game, Holding is an idiot and he probably would've been sent off before that for the amount of shit he was giving Son if it wasn't the NLD, but ultimately it's still in their hands, it's up to them to get results in the last two games, they're still in the driving seat for 4th place.
Softer than this penalty from 2 weeks ago?

I can't wait to see how their broken and dishevelled defence holds up against the likes of Dan Burn at set pieces.

Foxes Talk
  • As much as I don't like Spurs, that is how you do a TIFO
  • Son is such a little ****
  • Holding pulling Son's strings brilliantly. You love to see it
  • How is that a pen?
  • thought it was clear as day.Attacker jumps, defender mistimed his jump and knocks attacker over.
  • Son is such a knob; I can imagine it’s tempting to leave one on him.
  • That seemed soft too me, was not an elbow, yes it was a bit twattish, but not a 2nd yellow
  • Son is a proper cheat, goes under the radar aswell because of his nice guy act
  • This game is like an instruction manual for diving and cheating
  • You can always count on these London derbys to be entertaining, unlike the north-west ones
  • Brain dead defending from Holding, made so many unnecessary fouls in half an hour. Element of Son running into him but he clearly goes to obstruct.
  • Yeah it was Son that ended up winning the mental battle with Holding
  • Still think it's soft with Son making the most out of it but still
  • He's a right little shithouser
  • Holding was laughing when he throw away Son with a wrestling method, what an idiot
  • Can’t understand why anyone dislikes son or Kane
  • Why not? They're both *****. Son is awful, horrible snidey ****
  • Conte is a better manager and has got them playing well
  • The ARSEnal have really lost the plot here. How humiliating this defeat must be for arteta, the players and fans.
  • Conte really is a top manager. He knows exactly who to sign to improve the team and is a brilliant motivator.
  • If he stays, Kane will stay and they’ll be a real force next season I reckon
  • Hopefully Conte will go then, I can't cope with smug Spurs fans
  • I absolutely cannot stand spuds. When have we last beaten those smug buggers?
  • Really don’t get the Son hate lol Personally think he’s great, one of the best players in the league

I do find it odd that the only team's fans who don't seem to hate us with every ounce of their being is United.

How do we get under their skin to complete the set? :D

Villa Talk
  • If it was a proper derby they wouldn't let you play it at night.Southerners...
  • Glad it's not just me
  • if the police let them play it on a week night it's not a proper Derby
  • I think there is only about 10 stewards separating the arsenal and spurs fans...
  • strange atmosphere there tonight, both sets of fans very quiet
  • Good for the neutral viewer that Spurs are ahead
  • rob holding off after a 2nd yellow, stupid and not needed!
  • What an idiot
  • its really hard to dislike son, he seems like a super nice guy and he was brilliant at VP. for that goal when he sprinted from the halfway line you just knew it would end up in the back of the net. real top class forward, does it season after season
  • I have no time for Spurs, but just for lols I’m now hoping that by the end of 90 mins Spurs have more goals than Arsenal have players on the pitch.
  • find it baffling that Son is still at Spurs. Never seems to get linked away either
  • I agree, I can’t really think of a team he wouldn’t make better, even though I really resent how we almost take for granted that a team fifth in the Premier League shouldn’t be able to keep their best players.
  • I always think a red should be for something malicious - those are two nothing bookings really - silly of the player, but perhaps a bit much from the ref.
  • The second booking was absolutely ludicrous from Holding, definitely a yellow

We really do seem to get up a lot of other teams' noses, don't we? I've wondered why this is for ages. I mean, sure we have our share of idiot fans but so does every club and I don't think we've got any more than most.

The only thing I can come up with is this. We've basically won fuck all for ages, we don't have a sugar daddy, and yet we can still go out and build a massive stadium that's better than anybody else's and fill it. They look at the trophy haul over the last three decades and figure that we should just be a "make-up-the-numbers" midtable club playing in a 30k stadium with all the charm and charisma of an Amazon warehouse like they are. The fact that we aren't and that we still have such a massive fanbase despite the lack of recent success just really boils their piss.

Blue Moon
  • I am gutted. I HATE Spurs, more than any other team in world football. I hate their fans, the fact they feel they are owed a place amongst the elite. Honestly, I prefer rags/dippers over that mob. Vile club.
  • Jeez, I hate Arsenal...pompous deluded bitter twats who have never been able to accept that they are basically has bees. Next to Liverpool, their fans are the worst for giving us stick.
  • Can't say I'm in a love in with spuds either, a lot of them are racist numpties.
  • What a fucking stand that is!
  • Knee in the back, then an elbow thrown, no cards yet he booked us twice for softer in only 3 fouls committed
  • Son shouldn’t even be on the pitch after elbowing Holding
  • Spurs are serial divers but Arsenal take it to the next level
  • Son got pushed, but City players never get the same call
  • No way he would have given us that
  • Oh well, no fan of Spurs but always funny to see Arsenal go behind!
  • Conte buying refs again
  • I really do dislike Spurs. Hope Haaland destroys them next season.
  • Never mind the Bermuda Triangle, or Lord Lucan, Spurs doubling us is one of the great mysteries of the modern age.
  • Rob Holding is an idiot
  • They are gifting Conte a CL place. So typical
  • I’m not convinced that’s even a foul. We’ve got to a point where strikers can just run into defenders and claim to have been bodychecked.
  • Not a mark on Son. Played for that.
  • Ref playing a blinder for Spurs
  • Seems Tierney is a Spurs fan. Son threw an elbow tonight, not even looked at by him or Var
  • FFS. Kane is a player
  • It's a shame Son signed a new contract with Spurs, brilliant player.
  • Feel for Arsenal as not a penalty or a second yellow imo.
  • Agree about the penalty. But just saw another angle of Holding's second offence. Definitely a second yellow card. Arguably, a straight red
  • I'm so confused by what the conspiracy minded among us think is happening in the game. Arsenal have shat the bed and been punished for it.
  • Our fanbase has gone proper weird about referee corruption. It’s sad to see to be honest.Holding should have been given a straight red for that shoulder into Son’s head. He meant to do it
  • I wonder how good Spurs can get with Conte if he gets some money to spend. Don’t think he can challenge us but might be a solid 3rd.
  • If Kane and Son stay they may do ok. Without them two, they won’t. Is Conte definitely staying?
  • Spurs are very well organised.
  • The back 4 stay very tight
  • How did we lose twice to these London show ponies
  • Take Kane and Son out and they would be mid table
  • Hearing that atmosphere, I just can't understand why the club doesn't fuck off that fast paced nonsense version of Blue Moon
  • team winning derby = best atmosphere this season
  • Arsenal coming over all Spursy tonight.AFTV will be fun later on!
  • It's the atmosphere to blame you heard tyler at the start this is what a full house sounds like
  • Indeed. Spurs fans were belting out Hey Jude sounding great, and these two were talking absolute shit.Just shut the fuck up and let the atmosphere roll through our speakers!
  • there not at anfield you do know ;)
Wow the Man City fans truly are idiots.

We’re racist?

And another team that hates us lol, I do feel it’s tougher for us as so many clubs seem to have a thing against us yet likes of Gooners and Arsenal get a free pass.

We’re entitled too? (which I see said a lot) tbh I feel we tend to laugh at ourselves more.

I think Arteta is starting to turn a few people against Arsenal if the last few pages are anything to go by, especially West Ham, which is quite refreshing.
