We could've had him under Jose but he chose Bergwyn instead.Another one Pochettino didn’t want!
I certainly wonder how they would fill the void left by Salah and Mane. That would just make City's pursuit of the title even easier. Barring miracles, the Premier League is turning into the Bundesliga with City in place of Bayern. Also hoovering up any talent from any remotely threatening teams.Cant wait for their entire strike force to fuck off this summer - Origi gone, Firminho, Salad boy and Mane in their last year of their contract so most likely theyll fuck off and Diaz mister no look pass one footed wonder - perhaps look when you pass and as for Jota? the other Jota at Celtic is better.
Kane would press like hell for 90 for LFC once he contracted asthma.Kane doesn't really suit Liverpool's style. The one thing all of their forwards have had in common is that they're pretty quick, run like fuck for 90 minutes and press like hell. That's not really Kane's game anymore - he's simply not a Klopp-style forward even though he's obviously a brilliant player.
yep. another 3-4 years it will be the bundesliga in my opinion city to bayern is a perfect comparisonI certainly wonder how they would fill the void left by Salah and Mane. We are a way off that Kind of situation. I mean Bayern are so strong as they fund the entire league essentially, it's not just that other teams can't financially compete, it's that only two clubs can even splash out for 20 million on a player. In the PL most teams don't need to sell their stars, which makes the bargaining position. Such as: demanding higher fees, being able to sell for a lower amount to a club from another league and ofcourse simply refusing to sell. The PL is in such a state this already happens. There is a reason Zaha is still at Palace for example.I certainly wonder how they would fill the void left by Salah and Mane. That would just make City's pursuit of the title even easier. It is such a stupid argument to make. World class players make a difference to how good a team is, shocker really and brand new information that never happened before Kane and Son were at Tottenham.
This season alone:
- take Rice and Bowen out of West Ham and they would be around 15th.
- take Ronaldo out of Utd and they would be miles worse off.
- take Saka and Smith Rowe out of Arsenal and they would be worse off.
Literally every team bar City and possibly Liverpool would be worse off without their best players. To be honest, Liverpool have been poor defensively towards the back end of this season with Van Dijk struggling for full fitness. Wolves could have scored about 5 against them at the weekend.
He wasn't the right fit at the time.Another one Pochettino didn’t want!

I think it got closed down once the daily itk discussion thread became available. Real shame.Gents, where did the 'summer transfer wishlist' thread go?
It is. :Son’s slalom through half Burnley’s team.I read somewhere that our last Saturday 3pm game was in 2018. That can't be right can it?

I might be getting old and my memory is not what it used to be, but...wait, what was I going to say, oh yeah, as I recall the whole concept of "top four", "big four", "sky four" etc., I'm pretty sure only started when 4th place meant CL. Before that, finishing 4th or 5th had no particular importance.Unfortunately not that young anymore, that’s why I said the “so called traditional top four”.
I’ve heard people say “the old top 4 was Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Us” but I think you’re right in general and to be honest I was just trying to make a joke. It wasn’t meant to be this deepI might be getting old and my memory is not what it used to be, but...wait, what was I going to say, oh yeah, as I recall the whole concept of "top four", "big four", "sky four" etc., I'm pretty sure only started when 4th place meant CL. Much as I hate to contimplate it, in a few years we might be looking at City and Newcastle disputing the title every year. City were yo-yo relegaters and no hopers before the infusion of boundless riches, and that only, made them where they are today. No reason the same won't happen to Newcastle. Contrary to popular, or more precisely, wishful-thinking, money does buy happiness. And love too, to judge by their ever swelling fan base.I certainly wonder how they would fill the void left by Salah and Mane. That would just make City's pursuit of the title even easier.
