Whats your preferred midfield?

The way i see it, the midfield of Modric...Huddlestone...Palacios...Lennon, was working really well. But Kranjcar for me is more complete than Huddlestone. So replace Huddlestone with Kranjcar. But Modric and Kranjcar can interchange positions. I would prefer Modric in the middle, but we can easily bring Kranjcar infield if need be, and he would be similar to Huddlestone in the middle, but more of a threat going forward. I dont think a midfield of Kranjcar...Modric...Palacios...Lennon, is any less physical than that midfield which has worked well in various types of match.

I with that. I think Kranjcar brings all the attributes of Huddlestone with more. I was speaking to a guy at the Burnley home game, we were discussing whether he could do a centre-mid role. I think he can - easy.

At home i would go for this when all are fit.

I would bring Modric in to try and get him to influance the game more. Modric and Kranjcar to provibe the spark we need in midfeild that we often lack, Lennon just does what he normaly does and Palacios not to make as many silly fould around our area like he has been...


Although i would like a DM in along side Palacios

we still have Gio, Bale and Benntley off the top of my head that can come in as well.

Agreed, it is kind of tough and depends on the oppersition - but it is dammed nice to have options - I think a MF of either
Kranjcar/Modric/ Palacios/ Lennon
or
/Modric/ Jenas/Palacios/ Lennon
Is awesome.....one of the best options in the league, sorry hudd you don't get in to either - I would even suggest Bentley, depending on the opposition and who we have on as strikers.......playing weaker LB and CB's with this team also looks good! Lots O Options, love it!

Good headache to have. I would prefer my first option for home games, and the second for away fixtures.

And I ain't even found a place in teh starting 11 for JJ, I have been very vocal in defending him on these forums.
