I was annoyed when Tim got the boot and did not take a lot of notice of any Spurs stuff for a while. I am still not 100% about MoPo and the Davies signing has not exactly thrilled me to the core. If you call excited a rageing hard on..let's say I have a semi.

Are you Nabil Bentaleb?

I am excited about the new season, we have a decent manager in charge who plays good football and we have some terrific players in our squad.

It's hard for me not to get excited for the new season, I am every season, but I do wonder sometimes if I still would have this enthusiasm if Tim was still in charge...

Have there ever been this many quality managers at the top of the league? Pellegrini, Mourinho, Wenger, Rodgers, Martinez, Pochettino, Van Gaal - all very good imo. Definitely going to be exciting this year.

struggling to get excited, was last season with all the signings and look how that turned out, all our rivals have strengthened and feel we have been let down, surely must be money to spend and we were told we would be looking to bring quality in over quantity but as usual with us we talk a better game. Levy never seems to bring in the manager preferred signings, we keep getting told that the money prem clubs are receiving is going up but we never have a net spend.

I'm excited at the prospect of us playing good football and not having the traumatic experience of last season. I don't want to feel apathy at my team and I want to cheer and celebrate when we score....the last time I actually celebrated properly was Paulinho's winner against Cardiff.

My only advice would be to 'Keep the faith' mate. I know it's hard sometimes, especially when other clubs seem to be doing so much more than we are in the transfer windows, but we have a new boss on board, with new, more aggressive ideas, and a wonderful team spirit about us, so who knows what might happen?

Cheer up, it could be far far worse. You could have been a West Ham fan! :yuck:
What's with the blue font? A serious question

I am not as excited as I was last season. I was so sure that everything was going to turn to Gold last season.

There were people writing lots of articles about how brilliant AVB was going to be.
Lamela was "the most natural replacement for Bale" whom wasn't going to be sold anyway.

We signed Capoue, Soldado, Paulinho and Eriksen. International stars.

Unfortunately all that hype left me numb. The same articles about Pochettino being the perfect fit are taken with a huge pinch of salt.

I will of course be excited when the season kicks off. But I am not kidding myself that things are magically going to be better now because we have a new manager with a new philosophy

I'm very excited for the new season, with a real sense of optimism.... This will quickly be destroyed when the season begins.

This point of view I can understand. I don't understand anyone who is not excited about the team right now, even if you think you will be disappointed later.

Probably the least excited I've ever been before a season to be honest. Still a month to go so maybe it can change

My friend, I used to be a blue font wanker, but after a sudden dose of therapy, and a threat of being punched in the face, I am now a reformed character. My thanks to Real Madyidd for setting me back on to the right path. Hopefully, he is now able to continue posting on here without his bosses realising he is on a message board. I have made the ultimate sacrifice, so that he may continue...

We've got a couple of games on our "turf" to go before the season starts , I like what I've seen so far on the tour, our movement and passing is improving, once the other 1st team players return, hopefully for Espanyol we'll have a complete squad and a better test for the team.
