slightly off topic but did they offer you deals to keep it?
I'm thinking of calling to say I want to cancel to see if they will discount what I'm paying rather than actually cancelling
They did yes, I'm not sure what the deals were as I wasn't interested but well you worth trying them out, I reckon you'd get a good deal out of them.

The Sky pundits are a joke. They are either from Arsenal or Liverpool, Sky's two favourite teams. They are all biased as hell and continually put Spurs down (as Sky as a whole do).Why they are unable to get neutral pundits for each game is beyond me. Everytime Arsenal play there is either Alan Smith or Niall Quinn drooling about them. Unfortunately Sky have the Premiership coverage so we have to put up with it.

Sky cold called my grandfathers house when I was there last week, when I told them he got rid of sky eight years ago the chap asked me if he could help me.
I've somehow managed to get the full package for £12.00 a month for three months....

You've got to be joking.

Firstly Carragher is well annoying because he can't offer real objectivity, and he's pretty limited to. Neville is light years ahead of him, no comparison and is the best football pundit by a distance IMO.

I just can't stand Henry's arrogant demeanor, prick. Any Spurs fan 'looking forward to this' should feel ashamed lol. The coverage Sky are giving this is pathetic, its so cringe worthy.

I think if there's ever a reason to carry on watching streams and not signing up to Sky then this is it. How on earth a true Spurs fan can say he looks forward to seeing Henry on sky is beyond my comprehension. A truly talented player no doubt but still a cheat and a Gooner to boot. No thanks Sky.

Another gooner pundit on sky, there's a shock, either gooner or bindipper.

I haven't seen Henry as a pundit before so can't really comment on what he's like, so at the moment I don't like him.

Neville is easily the best pundit not just on sky but on tv. Carragher can be OK sometimes but still too biased and a lot of the time I need to put subtitles up.

Even if he wanted to be objective, how on earth is he going to be for a game like the NLD?

Give over mate ffs. I'm looking at it as someone who just likes to hear the views of certain ex players on football matches, not as a Spurs fan. In what way should I feel ashamed? Because he's an ex Arsenal player? Grow up.

Do I think he can look like a smug c*** at times? Yes. Do I hate seeing footage of him in an Arsenal shirt? Yes. Regardless, he was still a world class player and just because I'm a Spurs fan it doesn't mean I can't look forward to hearing his views on Premiership games and seeing the comparisons between his views and Neville's.

Should Liverpool fans hate seeing what Neville has to say on Sky and disregard it just because he's ex United? Jesus, some people really do have childish mindsets.

Give over? Its a bit of banter, hence the lol. Although I was being serious about Carragher, I think he is limited, in comparison to Neville anyway.

Calm down a bit there though, that's a serious overreaction.

I know he's a gooner, but I'm actually quite happy about this. He's another one who's opinion I'm actually quite interested to hear, like when he's been on Sky before.

Surprisngly I really like Carragher and Neville on Sky so it will be more entertaining and worth listening to with Henry also IMO.

He'll be able offer perfect analysis on hand ball situations and should be able to offer insight into how to do it properly without the ref seeing. To make it even better viewing you could have Maradona there as well

Impossible not to admire his talent on the pitch, but I'm not sure about him as a pundit at all. Not much substance to anything he comes out with, and (unlike Neville for example) always seems far too smugly proud of his pontifications.

Sorry if so mate but it can be hard to read banter/sarcasm over the internet at times. The 'you've got to be joking' didn't exactly suggest the rest of your post would be of a 'banterous' nature.

Apologies for the overreaction but I only reacted in accordance to what I thought you were actually trying to say. Having someone else tell me (especially another Spurs fan) that I should feel ashamed as a Spurs fan for having a fair view makes my blood boil a bit!

Ah, I worded my post badly - my bad. The got to be joking was to do with Carragher and what someone else said.

Of course the ashamed remark was banter, would never tell anyone what way to feel - everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions.

Ok without the sarcasm my view is exactly what Routledge said above, but only going on the way he was at the World Cup. I also watched a bit of his interview earlier and he makes me cringe a bit but that's not just because he's an ex Gooner - I think some of the French are extremely arrogant and he reminds me of my sister's ex lol.

That said there was no doubting his talent and I'm sure he'll offer a lot of good insight, I just doubt I'll like the way he delivers it - for want of a better phrase.

But I can understand why a lot of people will be very interested in what he says and how he does as a pundit, because of his immense talent as a player.

So apologies for confusing you.

(he's still a dirty Gooner though :) )

It's all good mate, I now know how to interpret your post so I have no issues with it!

That's completely fair enough. Like I said I'm happy about this because I feel his views may be worth hearing amongst Carraghers (who I do agree with you on mind) and Neville's views but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised one bit if I feel exactly the same as you and Rout-Ledge after watching him.
His interview was very cringy, especially when he was trying to suck up to Sky when explaining why he chose to go them! Seeing it about 10 times today hasn't helped either :ROFLMAO:

Totally mate. What struck me was how sure he was going to offer such fantastic analysis. Now he might well do, but I'm not convinced.

Personally I don't think we;ll see anyone getting close to Neville. Just like some great players don't make great managers the same will apply to pundits.
