Spurs is a tough gig. Let's face it.

I'm off out. Fucked off.

It's so true, as a club we have huge expectations. But don't pay the wages of transfers fees as the top teams. We have hugely successful rivals who have dominated us in the last 20-30 years. Revolving door of managers. So much wrong with the club tbh

I'm sorry, but those of you saying 'fair play to WBA, they were better than us' is just about the most heartbreaking thing I've read on here.

Does nothing more than reflect how average they are and how less than average we are for losing to them.

Both teams are mediocre in the extreme IMO.

Bad day at the office, every team has them.
Man City 0 Stoke 1 see it happens.
I knew these days would happen and the team gets panned, rightly so, it was awful.
The season is long though and there will be other upsets, that's why the EPL is considered the most entertaining league.
I have faith in MP and judgement comes in May not September.

Good post - we all need posts like this they to make us grow up - I'm over my personal hissy fit

It is time to for Enic to move on, at end of the line or we accept mid table team again. Enic have been great for us as a club so lets not depart on bad terms but if we want to stay with the rest of the teams, we need more. Lets follow what Poch and the players will say "Today wasn't good enough but we move on" that will be the statement released shortly.

MoPo 100% to blame for this defeat. Brendan seen he got it wrong and changed the sytstem early yesterday and got 'Pool back in the game. We were never in the game today. MoPo sat on his hands again. He picked the wrong team, wrong subs and sat and watched as the car crashed in slow motion when he was sat behind the wheel and did not put the brakes on.

Gutted....

4 games without a win... Something needs to change quick. The managers job is to get the players playing well and performing like a team, and we are not doing that.

Hurtful defeat. Depressing....... :(

Poch I hope will come good but I am amazed that he made Kaboul captain when for most of us the verdict is out on his ability still to play at the highest level. Then Ade as a vice-captain? Seems like very dodgy leadership to me
He first offered it to the most liked and least divisive person, but the tea lady refused to take the job. What can you do?

Vertonghen's contractual situation obviously didn't help.

We could have Ferguson as manager, Bill Nick on the coaching staff, it wouldn't matter. these players just aren't up to it. To a man.

Kaboul. Thought he needed a run of games. He's had them....he's gone at the game.

Chiriches. The more he is told by the crowd not to fuck about, the more dangerous he becomes.

Dembele, first time last week I've ever seen him play quick football. Thought it might be poch. How wrong I was. Looked like a glorified, pirouetting Scott Parker today.

Lamela. Is he aware qe play in white?

Eriksen. The new Andy Sinton. Set piece specialist that can't take a corner. I know 20 pub players that take better corners.

Adebayor. Said it many times. If he won't play, neither do Spurs. Whether he has been n told not to come deep, or was disinterested, the results are the same. We look unthreatening because out midfield is blunt.

Avb did a good, but Boring job.

Sherwood did a good on field job.

If Poch gets us to 5th it will be a miracle of a job.

Got away from the ground, home already, that's the highlight of today's Spurs experience.

I guess we will get the usual nativity. Give Poch time. Let him sign some players. Wake up and see the obvious. We stink of mediocrity.

A few years ago we had the most exciting team (not the best, but entertaining) in the PL. Our fans were considered the noisiest in the league. We had CL football. HOW have we dropped SO far in a short period of time? It can't just be because we sold Bale, Modric etc (we have been pretty much like this for as long as i can remember), teams around us who have "inferior squads' have more desire to win, play better football. It feels like we have been seriously mismanaged.

Honestly, I don't know what we can do. Something is fundamentally wrong at our club. Has been pretty much for the last 2-3 decades. No matter who's in charge, know matter who owns the club, know matter what players are their, it's the same old same old. IMO it has to come from the very top, and cascades right throughout the club.

man city dominated that game. stoke played well but could have lost 4-1 on another day. we never looked like scoring and could easily have 3-0 today. big difference for me

Hopefully reality has hit home for some of you.

We are average (that's being kind)

The players that some of you really rate (Lamela) aren't good enough for this league.

Neg rep away but you know I'm right deep down.

Shocking atmosphere today. This is what ENIC have created.

Fuck off ENIC
I'll give you one thing Jimbo. You are consistent!

This is all the passes we attempted in the game in WBA's area. Oh and just in case anyone is confused the red arrows aren't successful passes.
