We are doing ok. It's being helped immensely by how bad Milan have been so far. They are leaving so much space for us to play and have put very little pressure on the ball. Completely different to yesterday, where even at a slow pace Madrid were disciplined and we struggled to get upfield.

I'm watching the game on Norwegian TV and the English commentator is incapable of telling the difference between Bentaleb, Chadli and Onomah. Quite incredible.

Decent half, should have scored more than one though.

between dejong and mexes there will be at least 1 or 2 incidents and 1 guaranteed injury...

Onomah and Carroll have done alright, and McGee has been competent with all he has had to do. Good to see.

I like Fazio, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that he is too slow off the mark (both mentally and physically) to make it in the PL.

Have to admit the more I watch Fazio the more impressed I am with Sevilla for managing to win the Europa League with him.

Everyones actually moving around today and making runs. Admittedly part of it is on Milan giving so much space as opposed to Madrids 2 banks of four squeezing everyone out, but still, the lads look much more lively.

Urgh Dier in central midfield again, sad indication really...

Our team is more vivid and fluent without Dembele. But I reckeon Dembele maybe useful against Fellanni.

How about some individual ratings?
Chadli has stood out with his play - not just his goal.
McGee has done well - I actually think he had the lob covered even if it had been on goal

Nobody has played poorly - Lamela has had some WTF? moments, but coupled with some really incisive passes.

Onomah - raw, but you can see the talent.

I think Dier and Bentaleb have done fine in midfield.

Defense really has not been asked to do too much.
