Don't think what he says on camera is the same as in the dressing room

well whatever he says in the dressing room hasn't worked either has it?
So if he tore into them after Arsenal, there was no reaction today, albeit I'm sure we will hear all the boucneback comments in the week as normal
Leicester and Watford away next and they are tough, yet we need 6 pts but currently I don't fancy us in either game

TBH based on your postings this afternoon it doesn't seem you fancy us a whole lot ...

With our top placing in the CL group secured, I'd really like Poch to rest some of our first teamers, and test out a couple of the youth team players for the final group game against APOEL.. We should prioritise our league positon over the under 23's YCL game.

I don't at the moment in the PL if honest, love the club but the football is poor at present, thank god for the CL this year or I think there would be a lot more realisation its been a poor season

At £1.5m per win in the group stage and with chrome dome counting the beans, that isn't going to happen :D

Rather we kept Janssen instead of Llorente. Janssen atleast work like crazy involving himself if nothing else

Kind of says it all really when thinking about how Levy has backed Poch in the transfer market that we are debating keeping a complete no hope in Jansen as our best alternative

Then you look at the clubs around us....

If we continue to drop points we might find ouself in a similar position to Chelsea when they won the CL, Utd when they won the EL and Liverpool when they lost the EL final. That position being not much to play for in the league so we focus everything on CL

Silver lining and all that

It's been a poor season and we're not at the turn yet?

I get that some of the dropped points against certain teams haven't been desirable results, and there are things to be critical of, but sitting inside the top six come the end of the weekend isn't so bad. I get there will be folks here who will point out our failings this year and I'm sure there are all manner of stats besides to back them up, but the out pouring of some on here this afternoon has been laughable.

Not aiming all this at you obviously, as every fan as their right to air dissatisfaction but fuck me, it's a bit much this arvo, go and have a pint or a cuppa or something. In the fight for the top three (city are a long way clear at the moment) if we go on a run which we have done in the past it won't look half as bad as it does in some of your heads right now.

Well, most people in the usual pre season 'how will we do' thread had us not finishing top 4 with a 5th or 6th place finish deemed most likely, given that we're not playing 'at home'. And that, no matter what anyone says (and they'll try) is blatantly having an effect. Bettering or even matching last season was always going to be difficult and it surprises me how many people know that and still get angry or refuse to acknowledge it and get even angrier :D

I wonder when will Poch give another run out for KWP.

He's been on the bench on a number of occasions and he might have been useful in some of those games, if he had been given some playing time.
