It's been a poor season and we're not at the turn yet?

I get that some of the dropped points against certain teams haven't been desirable results, and there are things to be critical of, but sitting inside the top six come the end of the weekend isn't so bad. I get there will be folks here who will point out our failings this year and I'm sure there are all manner of stats besides to back them up, but the out pouring of some on here this afternoon has been laughable.

Not aiming all this at you obviously, as every fan as their right to air dissatisfaction but fuck me, it's a bit much this arvo, go and have a pint or a cuppa or something. In the fight for the top three (city are a long way clear at the moment) if we go on a run which we have done in the past it won't look half as bad as it does in some of your heads right now.

We've been crap in every home league game bar Liverpool so far...let's be honest here.

Was at my second game of the season today and after seeing WBA in person I'm wondering whether it's worth taking the ban to enjoy the satisfaction of calling Ben Foster a

Answer is you guys need to buy me pints! I couldn't drink more than one, it was too cold. They need Irish coffees or alcoholic hot chocolate
But then you would have spent most of the game on the throne, and would have missed all the action. Life is so overrated.

The only good thing I can say is we are still a better team than Arsenal and Liverpool. So still reasonably confident about sealing the 4th spot.

One defeat, 3 draws 2 of which were against teams in the bottom 5 and 2 narrow 1-0 wins against Bournemouth and Palace.

Are you seeing something I'm not?

Well, you do reckon this squad isn't going to get top four which raises two points as far as I can see.

1: What do you expect? Surely results will reflect that.
and
2: Seeing as we're not getting top four, why the torrent of negativity? Surely you've accepted it seeing as you know how its going to turn out :D

Not at this rate yes we are better then them but it's all about results and I can see us dropping more points at Wembley.

I see one loss playing at 'home' ... Could always be worse, I'm sure people wouldn't hear the end of it, if it was worse ...

I'm saying they won't make top four because of what I am seeing on the pitch. Being an optimistic supporter I had previously wrongly believed we were better than that.

I've never claimed to know how it was going to turn out but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been very disappointed with our performances at home this year.

That'll be the sweetcorn, presumably.
Well if you only see shit then there is no sweetcorn ... I like pragmatists when it comes to football, it reinforces my love of being a supporter, I get to escape and feel better about myself all at the same time!

Wembley has nothing to do with todays performance.

Unless Madrid and Dortmund found the pitch size more excessive than us.

We really lack strength in depth, and pace behind Harry. A couple of quality signings will hell enormously i.m.o.

Barkley & Zaha???
