Also "But according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bundesliga club are desperate to keep hold of the 20-year-old and value him at €50m" if they're that desperate, why are they valuing him so low?

Maybe he's expressed to them that he wants to leave? But yeah I have no clue why they would value him at that price, seems insane.

If this is true though and we were interested, you'd hope our past dealing with Leverkusen would help.

Leverkusen are stacked for talent and again he seems another player with bundles of it. Guess he is another some would like to see.

I think this is my issue with the window thus far, In seasons gone by I defended the club saying I can't see too many players who would improve us but they're plenty of options this summer and we still seem to have our dick in our hands deciding what to sploosh to.

Bailey would be a fantastic signing, especially at 50m. I'm clinging on to the fact that we have done discreet business with Leverkusen in the past.

We'll just have to wait and see - I know that's what most have been saying for the last month but here we are at the pointy end of things.

Again a no brainer, esp for 50m. I know we had a few goat/cryptics that mentioned him but just as everyone else it seems us fans want, they’re not a priority or at least don’t appear to be. Sigh.
