It's certainly a strange move by Pompey as they're already got Dioup for that position as well as Mendes and Davis!

I know in Diops case he will be at ACN for next month by 'Arry said he wanted him for ages so long-term how's he gonna accompany them - I mean there's only so many defensive midfield players you can play in one midfield.

They've already been whinging about Comolli sniffing around some of their youth prospects, and Hill-Wood threw a strop about Levy inviting Dein into our boardroom to sample the sherry that nice Mr Kemsley brought back from Seville. Not much love lost there.

I can't see Hamburg selling Kompany now. Maybe in the summer, but they are within shouting distance of Bayern and can't afford to break up their team at the moment. Whereas in the summer, the Dutch contingent may well be out the door after Huup Stevens leaves (I know Kompany is not Dutch but he is from Flanders I believe).
