Fantastic result. Obviously rode our luck a fair bit at times, but we also didn't let our heads drop when things went against us which was the best thing about tonight. Kane was outstanding. Best performance in a long time.

Dier back was a huge plus.
Bentancur and Kulusevski both look comfortable on the ball and pick a pass. Hojbjerg energy closing down, and Kane!
But we often turn up for these type of games. We just need to be turning up like this for every game.
Absolutely yep. We just have to keep our feet on the ground and realise that you don't just have to turn up to automatically win against the teams below you.

Complacency and arrogance has been a Spurs trait since I was a kid. Infuriating.

Hope we can take confidence, push on and be ruthless.

Kulusevski has end product and is essential on the opposite side of Son. Makes a big difference not having two whizz bangers.
Yeah I think the balance is so much better with Kulu on the right.

Lucas is just too much of a maverick to rely on: for every time he runs through 4 players, there are 10 times he overplays the ball or takes a loose touch and it gets turned over. Kulu might not have Lucas' magic feet but he'll help us to control matches and make intelligent decisions which is something our attack often lacks outside of Kane's genius.

Was a penalty, how can you dispute that. Also for me the minute on top was understandable, there was VAR delay same time as they announced the 7 minutes.
I think that should always be a penalty (but no card, as not intentional). However, other handballs have been dismissed this season when the defender's arm has been in an equally "unnatural" position, so it's one that I would always expect to be given against us, but would expect to be dismissed more often than not when it's for us.
The VAR decision to rule out Kane's goal for offside looked very clear cut, even though it looked onside to me in real time, so the ref probably got all of the "key" decisions right.
However, in terms of general game management (letting minor fouls go, randomly adding on extra injury time etc.), it did feel like a lot went in Man City's favour.

I know subconscious bias influences all of our perceptions, but there have been multiple articles over the years that have statistically proven the 'big' clubs get more decisions their way.

First ever row with my Mrs after 20 years of marriage.
.
She had a pop at me for screaming my bleeding head off when we scored the Kane goal which was VAR disallowed because I made her jump with fright.

Went quiet after that but when H headed home that winner all hell broke loose with me shouting & yelling, more grief from her so I rather loudly and angrily said "Right I'll watch the fucking matches in the other room from now on then"
.
A few minutes later she said "I'm glad they won" Which was her apology.

Still gonna watch in the other room from now on though. The cowson.

can someone pinch me or something? it's 3.45am here.... am i in a dream?

gosh..... 90+2 i was thinking... var.... bloody var... took a goal from us, and give city a pen.

brought me back memories of Balotelli stamping on our player, and going on to score the winning goal, and get a 3 match ban retrospective given. it was that kind of... things just go city's way. but what a fight from the team.

i would rip your hand off for a point, and even if we got a point i would feel it was a great result. but this is magnificent. hopefully, this is the morale boost we need to get back to winning. to not give up and keep fighting.

Unbelievable, what a result just when it looked like we’d thrown it away for a point (which I’d have taken before kick off!) COYS!
