I think we all knew that this game came too soon and we needed key players like Bentancur and Kulu to bed in and hit the ground running and Richarlison to be a real threat.

I also felt that if we're to stand any chance if getting something out of this game, we couldn't afford to be carrying 3 or more passengers in the game having off days, if we did there was only one outcome, and that's how it panned out. I think at least 99% of our fans know today that at least 3 of our players were just out of sorts and below par in today's game so I'm not going to bother naming them.

How did that work out?

Sess is a Championship player, you I know this, and so does any sensible Spurs fan. Taken to the cleaners again today.
Not saying it was the right call. But that clearly was his thinking.

Sorry - but you don't sack a manager when the club are in the top-5 (or 6), and dealing with the injuries we have had this season.

That is madness.

That does not mean Conte is faultless - but there is a huge gap between his faults, and needing to be sacked.
But the football is turgid and desperate. If we’re going to fail, let’s fail entertaining

we had a few big chances today and thing could've turned out differently, but bottom line is we're shit and at this point i hope we lose 5-0 to city so we can take this transfer window seriously and make some drastic changes.

Are you watching the same games? His form has been poor all season, inc at the WC, looks devoid of confidence, cannot do the simple things right and looks s shadow of his former self. How he lasted 90 minutes today I will never know.
did you watch last season. Geez he's not dele. He needs time on the bench to get his mojo back. richy back hopefully allows him to be dropped/ rested
should have been hauled off for sure.. he's been pants this yr

Sorry guys but this performance is on the manager, not playing Perisic from the start was a massive mistake. He keeps relying on the same players week in and week out to no avail ( I am looking at you Son). Lastly , the amount of times this season where we play like little boys in the first half but then come out fully transformed in the second is astonishing and I dont think I have personally ever witnessed this before with any other team. Its almost written on the wall at this point, and that is def on the manager there.
I think Conte is betting on half time / full time results with LADBROKES. Probably making a fortune.

Woolwich hadn't won here since 2014, nothing to do with "big games" we just don't have "big fight" players for any game.
This. Romero and Richy like to get physical but no-one else shows a real passion. Hojbjerg likes to pretend a bit but I am getting a bit frustrated with his continual passing backwards. No leadership in the whole team. Lloris is a useless captain on the pitch and Kane is not a leader despite being England captain. Needs a midfield general or a centre back to be captain. We don't have that player.

It’s not nonsense, Conte can’t get anything out of this squad. He can’t get us to play to our strengths. He can’t even work out how to get us playing in the first half of every game we play, regardless who it’s against. He has no plan B. I guarantee Poch would at least get us playing decent football again.
Top class forward line, top 4 level midfield, top 10 level defence inc. keeper and finishing 5-6th in a viciously competitive PL is about right with a decent manager.

Mind the gap it's a chasm! I'm just so glad I avoided paying Sky for that dreadful showing my instincts were at least in tune with this team's demise and avoided the Tyler/Neville bias from what I heard. I did have half a hope from that 2nd half against Palace then Conte selected a team that immediately showed we were there for the taking. Our first halves are usually dreadful that never seems to change. This lot & Lego head you can't get a way with it, they are storming to the title. We seemingly have loved to help them get there and it hurts like hell.

Will be horrible to see Kane go but that's ominous now. The toxic nature only seems to grow and what a difference a year makes from optimism we see capitulation. ENIC/Levy should just sell up as much as I hate money ruining our beloved game THFC will fall further behind and will be buried without it.

I hate Lloris to the core.
Some may not like it here. But dont care.

He is so soft. His lack of ball kicking is awful. 2nd goal down to the idiot, not having the confidence to release the ball earlier, instead went long and gave the ball to Arsenal.

One thing that was going for him is his world class shot stopping skills - thats deserting him this season.

Lloris can fuck off to France. I would rather play Forster till end of season , if we cant get a no1 midseason
How can you hate a man who has given Spurs such great service for so many years? Yes, he is past his best, and he can't kick a ball for toffee, but he has one of the worst PL defences in front of him, who themselves are left exposed because of the mind numbingly boring and simplistic tactics employed. A new goalkeeper will not cure our current woes.

Simply better than us. They’ll walk the league.

Conte got it l wrong and should have changed it but he can’t be blamed for Lloris pushing the ball into his own net and then the errors from Lloris and Sess in the second goal.

Lloris has been making errors for years now but in typical Spurs fashion, we have let him continue and the frequency of these errors have increased. He can’t be our keeper, let alone our captain. This has been coming and we have done nothing about i

He was up against it but I thought Hojbjerg was real poor.

Son…. Spoke about him in his thread. Simply not good enough at the moment and has only been playing due to injury of others. Needs to be removed from the starting 11.

Fuck me mate, Sonny was the golden boot winner last season, under Conte, playing in these tactics.

It ain't the manager, or his tactics...
It’s been well documented that this season, he and perisic have been occupying similar places. Yes Sonny has dropped off a cliff but this is down to coaching surely

He is a one trick pony that has been completely found out. We are overrun in midfield every game, that is 100% down to Conte, some set piece goals front early games and still have some individual quality players have really kept us above where our general play deserves this season.
ENIC need to go, more than happy for Qatari investment but Levy one last job before you leave, SACK CONTE

the general feeling leaving ground today was crowd want him gone. Was a few getting sacked in the morning chants

Ive said it when we’ve won games and im saying it again now, Hojberg for me is not at the required level if we want to challenge at the top table.
