Doing them a favour should be far from our minds. Turning this pile of crap into something that resembles a football team willing to play for the club should be our no.1 priority. Unfortunately, we have no power or desire to force the situation to get rid of the most critical problem that continues to hamper our club and ulltimately our performances on the pitch.
I was jesting. For me, from here with players back. We need to regroup and March on. We are better than this and with new players in this window- we can only improve.

I don’t care about them. I want top four and a trophy which are both within our capability.

I think our play directly reflects our chairman. In big games where our true character is there for all to see, I feel we are the embodiment of Daniel Levy. I obviously don't know DL, but judging from his behaviour with Jol, JM, Poch, and his awful history in the transfer market, he strikes me as the type of guy you can't trust when you are in a difficult fight, and it shows in how we play. Scared, sloppy, and unfocussed... until the game is lost and it doesn't matter.

Nonsense, Poch would do no better than have us a bit easier on the eye perhaps. We'd still concede a bucket load with Lloris throwing them into his own net and Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Lenglet taking it in turns to make defeat clinching errors. Not a single thing will fix this apart from 4-5 new players, most of which are defenders.

If Poch came in, he'd need 4-5 players, just like Conte or any other manager.
It’s not nonsense, Conte can’t get anything out of this squad. He can’t get us to play to our strengths. He can’t even work out how to get us playing in the first half of every game we play, regardless who it’s against. He has no plan B. I guarantee Poch would at least get us playing decent football again.

To be honest I'm not even disappointed.

Outclassed today.
There's nothing to do but put your hands up and admit they were better all over the pitch. There's no shame in admitting that they deserved that win and if they win the league they'll deserve that too. I'm more concerned with the gap opening up between us and 4th, especially with the games we've got coming up. We could very well find ourselves in 7th by the end of the next game week.

Get a grip The world has not ended
It wasn't nice viewing but looking at stats cheered me up
PLUS
If ref hadn't fallen for their every fall
If Lloris had remembered he was a keeper
If someone had better closed down Ostagard
If Ramsdale wasn't so up his arse
Could have been a different story

If Margot Robbie was my wife my life could have been a different story. But here we are, in the real world.

Woolwich hadn't won here since 2014, nothing to do with "big games" we just don't have "big fight" players for any game.

"But, ah -- we play very well in first half but we were bit unlucky. You know very well Ugo is a great goalkeeper, we are talking about a world-class goalkeeper. But ah - we desservED more. We must be patient and continue to work on training pitch."

Saved you the trouble, you can skip the Conte presser now.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Second half we were much better, however you want to spin that.

Dont really understand why we dont start like that but the reason we lost was Lloris as much as it pains me. That first goal cannot happen to a to keeper at a team trying to compete where we are.

But they are more ruthless, o ly thin is we are a bit of a bogey team for them, but still hard to see us troubling them at the minute.
Yes we are a bogey team for City but the one player they are usually scared shit off is actually harming his own team more rather than any opponent.

Of course. Why can't people understand this.
Whatever industry you are in the same is true. You appoint a manager/CEO and back him so he can do the job you appointed him to do. If you don’t your company will not be successful.

He needs some time on the bench but I think the tactics are making him look worse. We have no rhythm in our play and Son thrives in an attacking formation and I blame this on Conte.
he thrives on the wing or or running past the last man. not playing with his back to goal. But sonny can be dropped but how bout hugo. At the rate he's going , he's a bigger liability than Emerson. He's the Captain and it starts with him on the pitch. His kicking is already dodgy and it seems to be affecting his shot stopping as well

It doesn’t help that both CMs bombed forward so when we lost the ball Odegaard is left in acres of space in the middle of the park. One always has to stay back to keep the gate closed.

If the opponent is playing a 3 whoever stays back has to cover two guys, if it wasn’t Odegaard it would’ve been Xhaka in miles of space. It doesn’t work, it worked with Kante because he used to do the work of two or even three players. Any side who don’t play 3 in midfield against us are out of their minds, it’s so easy to dominate us.
