The ref was absolutely atrocious. He really shouldn't be in charge of games this big

The ref wasnt great but the ref wasnt great for both sides. I think he and VAR got big decisions right. So im unsure why there is such a fuss over him.

Think it was his inconsistencies when it came to booking our players and theirs. They got the penalty calls right of course, but City made a few cynical fouls and nothing was given.

So much to enjoy today. Top performance & a great atmosphere in the ground. The players and the crowd pushed each other on.

Icing on the cake was seeing Aaron Lennon on the pitch at half-time. He looked genuinely delighted to be there (no, seriously) and got a great reception. Heart-warming stuff.

Yes... pretty crazy. Our defence ?

It was not a good evening for Erling Haaland, who not only ended the match at Tottenham without a shot on goal - but he also failed to touch the ball in the Spurs penalty area.

It was the first game that Haaland has failed to have a shot in City colours - and only the second City game where he has not touched the ball in the box.

City are not good enough to win the league off their own bat. We keep hearing they might go on a 10 game winning run. Not with this team. Arsenal are going to have to blow up which I think they are quite capable of doing. Especially Arteta. Typical ungracious loser yesterday, just like Wenger.

Weird Dias and Laporte both on bench?

I know Laporte fell out of favour a bit last season too, which is odd as is better than Stone or Ake.

They can both come to us if they want to play regularly! :playful:

Not hear of Akanji who was playing at centre back alongside Ake either?

You should have heard of akanji, he has played against us when we played Dortmund.

agree on Dias and Laporte. They should be their first choice pairing.

They have to play city twice which if they lost both would swing things in city’s favour.

I think one more bad result for Arsenal and they start imploding and they haven’t had any real injury issues yet.

The only time I wasn't nervous when they had possession was when their players were 1v1 against Royal.
I agree, he stood them up never got suckered in or went to ground very competent performance and took charge of others on a number of occasions too

Agree. He was terrible first half and should have booked Grealish a couple of times for a pro foul and a dive.

Good win that. I thought we might. We just have their number at home.

Typical they’re going through the motions when up against the scum though. Plenty of time left yet though.
