So much to enjoy today. Top performance & a great atmosphere in the ground. The players and the crowd pushed each other on.

Icing on the cake was seeing Aaron Lennon on the pitch at half-time. He looked genuinely delighted to be there (no, seriously) and got a great reception. Heart-warming stuff.

Brilliant to hear! Didn’t he have some real struggles with his mental health after he left?

Glad he’s doing well and great that the club invited him. He was a brilliant player for us, one of my favourites in an era where we were starting to become a proper team.

I’d love to see a clip of the interview if it’s doing the rounds?

How much better a day is with a win like this afternoon.
Not only football, but everything is so much brighter. Please may this continue.

Agreed. Felt like a weight had been lifted off everyone this afternoon. Hopefully the start of a prolonged period of positive results.

Maybe we should have had that clear the air meeting a couple of weeks earlier…?

Saw this from Ali Gold:

Eric Dier

Constantly pushing up the pitch and adding to the numbers in the middle. One of his best games in a while. Nothing got past him. It was the first time Haaland didn't even have a single shot in a Premier League match or a touch in the Spurs box. 9

Enjoyed seeing Jimmy’s son on the big screen talking about his dads record. A nice touch, I thought.

Dier pushed up onto Silva when he got the ball.

The change in who pushed up worked well today, and something that should have changed a while back.

Sitting back like today have 2 CB's sitting and let the CCB push up to attack the ball.

Against teams sitting back let Romero and the LCB be aggressive and bring the ball forward.

Hope this puts to bed we have any ‘shit’ players - maybe you don’t like a player maybe you think he can’t play in our chosen formation but we have ZERO shit players

Congrats to Harry on breaking the record

I thought he had a terrific game and it's great to see him contest and win many 50/50's when the ball is played up to him. Earlier in the season he was making little effort to challenge for these.

Cack useless toothless Ashton Canal-side nobodies and the epicness of Stellini’s tricky Lilywhites.

Excellent.

yeah he rushed out a lot to come into midfield. It worked well

Brilliant result. We had times where we were playing through them for fun, but plenty of times too where we just gave them the ball on the halfway line.

I swear he was at one point trying to tempt Ederson into making a rash challenge on him for a pen. Such a quick thinking football brain - that point under the tv cameras when the ball was out and he booted it further to waste those few precious seconds, similar to when he first started out all those years ago.
