id go with brasil. Dont rush modders back, but if he is fit, replace palacios or sandro. Kranky derserves his chance.

I think he'll risk Modric tonight. We have a week till our next game and this is AC Milan in the Champions League last 16! (I love saying that)

COYS!

Am I the only one who still think it's surreal we are playing AC Milan at the San Siro in the last 16 of the Champions League?!

I reckon he'll bring Modric on later on in the game. I also think we'll see Pienaar come on for Lennon at some point and Defoe for VDV.

And i agree with Felmani, it is a bit surreal - COYS!!!!

Ibra, Robinho, in attack with Seedorf just behind....Pato on the bench, just heard from my AC mate in Milan..he's off to have a drink with our lads in Duomo....Pissing down hard apparently.

Actually having read Harry's comments about Sandro playing 'for sure' as he only has him and Palacios to chose from, yet seeing Modric in what appears to be full training, i reckon this could be a good old Harry switcheroo he's trying to pull on Milan.

So Modric to start in place of Sandro i reckon now.

Ibra, Robinho, in attack

Is there a more apathetic front pairing with more attitude in the world?

I think the game tonight will come down to these two players. With both of them on fire they could be close to unstoppable, but there's also as much chance that neither of them turn up to play.

Modric has had his appendix out (I've had mine out too) yes its an operation and it can take a week or two before you have your strength back to full capacity but Modric looks pretty good in those training pics. I think he'll be fine to start, he might tire by the hour mark but if Harry feels he can get 60-70 mins out of him he should start him.

Its not like he's had a groin strain/tear or a hammy, or even worse. He cant aggrevate an injury so to speak although I appreciate if he isn't right he could pick up one.

Possession is going to be so important, we must retain the ball well when we have our spells. Sandro and Palacios togther just isn't the right balance for me in order to do this, we'll sit deep and invite them on to us which would be a recipe for disaster with their front three.

It's hammering down! Won't be like inter and masses there it's too bloody wet!!

Can't wait to see the ground again.

Modders instead of Sandy for 45 mins, risk him, go at them.

If Lennon turns up tonight, we'll win it.

FCOYS!!

Certainly don't want a charged Gattuso going in high on ol' Modders but I agree if he's fine in himself we need to start him and sub him off if neccessary.

As I said in the other thread, we need to cut the supply to Milan's front trio of Robinho, Pato and Ibrahimovic - hustle their midfield and restrict the space between our (likely) midfield 4 and our defence and this is where Dawson can play a pivitol role as he's the aggressor in defence in rushing out to cut out the opposition's attack.

Loving this - AC Milan at the San Siro. Wish I was there.

Worried about the trickery of Ibrahimovic and Robinho aginst Dawson and Gallas, but hope our boys can shut them out.

How about a goal from an unlikely source tonight? ......Corluka, or even Palacios!!?

Let's do it.

Would give my right nut to see Palacios score tonight!
