understand, its just starting the season with what looks like a CH in midfield for a club with our supposed ambitions is just very poor for me

As many have said, from how they've played in pre-season and all that I'd imagine it'd be more likely Alli starts next to Bentaleb.

In terms of our ambitions, a different conversation for a different day but I think considering we're building a team for the future I don't mind experimenting too much. This one doesn't look like it's working but I'd rather we tested now than in the season

Glad that Lloris is on the bench, surely he'll be good for the weekend

Fair enough. Must be a barrel of laughs for you being a fan then!

tbh it isnt much fun at the moment, as I see very little on pitch positives with Spurs which I take no joy out of at all.
If I could see an ambition beyond ENIC filling their pockets that would change.
All about what happens on the pitch for me, the stadium, training ground etc yep of course have a place but thats not what I have been following for north of 40 yrs.

I grew up watching spurs around the time of ginola and Ferdinand and no nothing of past glories really. And to be honest we were awful, really shit. The modern day version would be west ham or Newcastle. Just making up numbers bit with the press and media enjoying to stick the knife in more..for some reason

Now the club expects 6th place minimum rather than being delighted qualifying for Europa via fair play league. Or being happy that we lose to united in a plucky manner

So beyond training ground and future stadium youve got to be happy enic have stopped us being a total clown outfit
