Didn't see a thread.

Anyway, my dad spoke to his agent today and he's said that Gardner wants to leave. Not sure where to yet, but he doesn't fancy being fifth choice center back, or even sixth if we get Davies.

That's all, folks.

I am happy to see him staying around as a backup but he's never going to be in the first team when everyone's fit. Good luck to him if he goes somewhere else as, although he has made his mistakes, he has been a decent reserve player and hasn't complained at all.

yea, lets have a thread where people are sticking up for that cretin Ghaly after 1 seaosn chucked our shirt to the ground, and here we are giving a player with an amazing attitude and loyalty a load of stick.

Good luck TG, i dont see any better 4th choice centre halves in the country, do you?

Bloody right,TG loves it at Spurs and has been a loyal and very under rated player, good luck to him.
Their proposed transfers to Birmingham just shows the kind of players that Mido and Ghaly are.
FUCKING ARSEHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so much for rewarding loyalty eh?
He's been very professional during his time at the club and has never complained about lack of time in the first team.

BUT i think he's been rewarded when picking up his paychecks while beeing injured for loooong spells.

Would be great news if he left us and made space for a better and more fit defender.

sell him to anyone, anywhere, for anything,.... please

not premiership calibre, no need to continue wasting everyone's time any longer.

he only hasnt complained because i bet he cant believe his luck that he's playing for a team like us. Ive never seen anyone play it back to the keeper so often, all because he's that uncomfortable on the ball.

Ship him out, he's shite, simple

Clearly BMJ disagreees with most of you. Otherwise he would have started Rocha at CB.

So far this window he's been linked to Villa, West Ham, West Brom, Man City, Birmingham and Portsmouth. Apart from a p/x with WBA for Davies I can't see any of those coming in for him now.

Much as I like TG for being loyal to Spurs and seeming a genuine decent bloke (at Stevenage game spent lots of time posing with supporters) he was poor yesterday so if we got a decent off I would take it.

If Jol doesn't trust Rocha we need another CB, which is a shame as we seem to splashing dosh about willy-nilly.

If Gardner was up for the challenge, I think we would have seen it by now. he's been here 6 or 7 years and he's still the subject for debate.

I believe it's time for him to go and he more than anyone needs a fresh challenge, regular football and an opportunity to regain some confidence, which might help him prove to may that he does have the ability to cut the mustard.

That's right. A CB that tall and that poor at winning the ball in the air is not a premiership player. He missed it late yesterday and Spurs lost. He didn't win it late against chelsea last season, Spurs lost. Please feel free to add further disappointments to this list - these two just happen to be fresh in mind. It's nice to have a deep squad, but it's only useful if the players are premiership calibre.
