They start super fast whereas we're still asleep most of the time starting, all depends if we can weather the storm.

Stay in the game into the second half and I'll fancy us.

I dont know why, I havent been this unconfident of getting a result there for a long time.

Its not that I think they are that good, maybe just realisation that we always go there and play abysmally. I fancied us more at Stamford Bridge

With the strike action seemingly going ahead on the 1st October, is there a chance this game gets postponed? Same for the Brighton game on the 8th, I believe they postponed the Brighton Palace game because of it...
Lego Pep, is that you?

Expect us to lose, but we've been formidable in all the big games under Conte except vs Chelsea, so hopeful we can put in a performance and make it very hard for them at the very least.

Why is everyone so pessimistic?

We had Nuno in charge last time we were there.

Yes our record is shit...but that's all irrelevant with Conte in charge.

I think it's a tough one to call....not the forgeone conclusion most think on here.

Personally I don't want to go in expecting too much after getting carried away before the Chelsea game and everyone saying we were favourites...only for us to barely turn up.

I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I hear you.

I think we've looked better since then though. Not hugely better, but definitely a bit better.

Because Arsenal are being super overrated. Look back at the posts fron time time last year and they are the same. We have not been particularly good yet but we’re not tending to lose matches. I think it will be a draw.

Yeah I'd go 1-1.

This is going to sound crazy but I am just interested to see how we compete vs a good team.

Performance is secondary to results in these games, just get the win but for this one I just want to see impose ourselves on them. Not by having the ball but by seeing us able to dominate in duels and look a constant threat in transition.

I want to see that vs a good team we have the ability to go there and dominate some aspect of the match away from home. That will give me hope for the season.

I think we turn up for this one and blitz them. I'd stick with 3 up top because I think they're weakest at full back (Ben White isn't a natural fit there and Tierney isn't at his previous levels yet/hopefully Zinchenko isn't fit but think we can get at him too). For all the pessimism about our performances and supposed lucky results, I don't think Arsenal have been consistently amazing either. They can't be too confident against us.

Irritatingly before every game the scum will have reports of this player is in doubt, that player is in doubt. FFS, are we expected to pity them or what. It's the club and Arteta's stupidities that wanted the squad to be that lean.

But anyway, these players in doubt will always play regardless. Lame tactics from Arteta. But one day I really hope these players playing with true sustained injuries are genuinely kept by the sidelines for long and we can see how they cry when they bring in U16 players to their match day squad.
