I think we turn up for this one and blitz them. I'd stick with 3 up top because I think they're weakest at full back (Ben White isn't a natural fit there and Tierney isn't at his previous levels yet/hopefully Zinchenko isn't fit but think we can get at him too). For all the pessimism about our performances and supposed lucky results, I don't think Arsenal have been consistently amazing either. They can't be too confident against us.

Love the confidence but if there's one outcome that won't happen it'll be us blitzing them imo.

If we get something it'll be very ,very tight and I'd still personally take a draw. But hey - I hope you're right!

We are well capable of getting a result at The Piggery.
Seeing how our midfield looked outnumbered at times against Leicester I would start with only two up top with either Bissouma or Skippy slotting in alongside Holjberg and Bentancur in midfield.
We can open up the game later if we need to.

Id agree, Arsenal come flying out the blocks and try to blow teams away.

If we start with the 3 and nullify their fast start, when theyve blown themself out we can open the game and go for the win.

Remember their high press will suit us.

If we defend well, we'll see lots of counter attacking opportunities.

Can only hope so. Have to start actually find our man more often though. The real thing that could let us down is cheaply and repeatedly giving the ball back. Hopefully we'll be a lot more precise with our passing than we have been in the last few games.

To nullify is one approach but them coming at us plays into our greatest strength- a rapid counter. If they're too pumped up we can pick them off. In all honesty I'd be more confident about us scoring on the counter than clogging the midfield and not conceding.

I am a little worried that if we start sluggishly we could be a couple of goals down after 15 mins. The players need to be well up for it!

I think we’ll win 0-3 with about 30% possession, having scored all 3 first half and they won’t have a shot on target all game…

Saliba and Gabriel M are great progessive carries of the ball too.

Whilst I agree we want them to press us, it's going to be hard as we are facing one of the best pressing teams in the country this season. We are capable of playing ourselves into trouble as a team. Conte will know this, I hope he has something up their sleeve to trick them tactically and we don't have to play Sanchez and Forster.

Jesus has been so good this year. Gotta get into him, stop him receiving the ball and if he receives it, don't let him turn. Dier has to be crcuial in this.

Agree on the Jesus point big time. So much of their play is getting it to him quickly for him to get away from his marker and play quick 1-2s drawing defenders out of position.

I do worry Dier will struggle with that a bit more based on pace but think Romero or Sanchez (whoever plays) is tailor made for this if that’s our plan.

Yes. I agree. My main worry is what we are going to be like with the ball.

I am mainly worried about turning over the ball early and often in our build up, allowing their confidence to build and we go into our shell. The Emirates is always rocking when we play there and Arsenal are so energetic in the first half, they will hound us like dogs. After seeing us play vs West Ham last month, it worries me for this match because when the pressure was on in the stands and on the pitch we started to struggle. It's why we need to play Romero because that boy lives in another reality and pressure doesn't seem to touch him, whereas Sanchez, for all his good off-the-ball defending and pace, he can get very shy.

The South Americans are not as far away as normal. According to the Official site Bentacur is playing in Slovakia right now and Richarlison is playing in Paris tonight. Sonny's played so should return from Korea overnight. If Romero got his visa he's in New York and Sanchez will probably be last back as he's in California.

Glad to see no one is crazy and voted for a Goalless Draw. There will be goals - could be 5, 6, 7 of them
