I didn't enjoy watching that at all tbh. Super thankful and grateful to the boys for the 3 points and a step closer to CL, but the pressure of the title is too much for this lot and I don't want it to affect our CL chances.

Automatic CL qualification would be triffic.

+2 GD and 3 points. Will take that with bells on.

Folks, do yourselves a favour and leave the title as an extreme outside possibility, because we are simply way too wasteful in the final third to achieve it this season.

All of this is great experience for them moving forward though.

And if we come out of it with CL I'll be absolutely made-up as didn't think at all that we'd make it this season.

Fuck that, we're gonna win the league! :woot:

Most goals scored and the fewest conceded, yes we could always score more but goals are clearly not a problem for us. Play down our chances if you must but I've already had my Prem champions tattoo started and it's right on my face which will also be an egg free zone at the end of May.

Your obsession with Bentaleb is nauseating. Dembele, Alli and Dier are the superior players in nearly every aspect. Bentaleb is a fine squad player, he does however, and you can argue this all you want with cherry picked statistics, give the ball away too often. He doesn't assist, he doesn't carry the ball well, he doesn't score goals and he can't pick up a man to save his life.

I should think Alli gave the ball away more times today than Bentaleb has in his entire career. I don't want a CM who feels the need to "carry" the fucking ball every time he gets it.

I'm gonna watch that game with beer and snacks right now. Want to savour the special atmosphere at their stadium. :)

People seem to think that unless we thump teams 4-0 it's a bad day at the office. No cards, little energy spent and 3 points. Perfect.

Thought I might have to book an appointment at the optician, as judging by some of the posts on here I was clearly watching a different game.

It was a professional performance. Some sloppy passing, but overall we controlled the game, only really looked uncomfortable in the last 10 minutes, and deservedly won the game.

Perfectly happy for us to relax a bit after the second goal. No point in going all out for a thrashing if we're knackered against Bournemouth next week.

Like I said...I think it's the combination of two factors. Take away the assumed attitude problem and he'd likely be getting more looks than he has been.

There is definitely something up though. Not rocket science that there's some sort of issue behind his rare outings.

I completely agree that there must be an issue beyond football. When little Tommy's getting the nod away at Dortmund in a CM2 you know Bentaleb's clearly pissed in Poch's cornflakes.

alli simply isn't in the game
He has not been for while, he need resting
All you heard when he came off were boos though. Contrast that to when Alli or Eriksen came off and all you heard was either silence or song. Im not saying they did boo him. But im just saying he was getting showered with boos.
Could be the fans were not happy Lamela was taken off. I know a lot fans were not happy of late when Lamela is taken off.

You don't say

You say that but some many of the posts on here appear to be from people who don't realise that.

No one will remember the performances at the end of the season.

We could win the next 8 games with the ball bouncing off Kane's arse in the last minute after us having 0% possesion for the whole game and if it results in us winning the league No one will remember.
