Seems like of a lot of guesswork on your part in all honesty.
Quite frankly I couldn't give a crap what the executives seats cost, the people buying those can afford it.
I'm interested in the average season ticket price, as that's what the majority of fans will be paying, which you don't really answer.
I can’t answer what hasn’t been announced. There are 6,000 exec seats out of the 61,000 total. I don’t see any reason why the regular seats will be priced differently relative to the goons. Even if regular season tickets were priced the same as at WHL my initial asseton that we will have the highest gates receipts still holds as our prices were pretty similar to the goons who currently have the highest gate receipts. Factor in the slightly larger capacity and the more expensive exec seats and we will definitely have the highest receipts, unless of course you think Levybjs about to cut season ticket prices, which would be a pretty funny thought.

Possibly not but from memory he has always been anti-Levy and thinks any issues we have are due to under-spending.

I think this season was always going to be a difficult one for the reasons I've listed in a previous post.

I'm not convinced simply spending more is the answer.
Really, did you take a look at my first post in the Race for Title 2017/18 thread ? Disagree with me but don’t make up opinions that are just nonsense.

But Arsenals cheapest season tickets are a lot more than ours, and their highest is a lot more as well.
They're not similar at all.

Ahh but it is because they want us to beat citeh and manure and chavski and win the league so spending is the only answer no ?

Problem is who can outspend a nation of oil owners.
Answers nope not possible.
We are the only club that has come close and I for one am proud of that but to think we can carry on doing it is pure fantasy imo

Fuck me they needed a better defence so spent about 250 million in a week on just that hiw on gods sunny earth can a normal club compete ?

I didn't say your opinions are nonsense. Where on earth did you get that from?

Some have said your view is knee-jerk. As I said you have long held this belief so not knee-jerk.

So I was actually defending your opinion at the same time as disagreeing with your view.

I don't recall your post from the Race for the Title thread but you could have tried reading the post you just quoted.

Serious question, who is doing better than us at finding gems in the Prem?

We have been consistently excellent for the last 2 seasons, finishing 2nd and 3rd. Now we are going through a rough patch you think we are "second tier."
Finding gems is by definition almost impossible but seeing as you ask I think Southampton have done better than us in recent times with the likes of Mane, Wanyama, Alderweireld, Van Dijk.

Just to add something to what you posted I'm not sure it's so much as a rough patch but more of back to our natural position, we probably over achieved the past two seasons and found ourselves in a title race that we never expected.
Whilst we achieved these high positions clubs like city, Utd and Chelsea were having off seasons, and so now that they are sorted and have come back to their rightful positions we have gone back to ours which has skewed the fact that we are not quite as good as we think we are but instead are a decent side that are a few players short and perhaps lack the belief in these big away games hence our shit record.

I read your post clearly, to say I’m anti-Levy is wrong, to say that I’m always saying we need to spend more is also wrong. When the window finished and SC was collectively pulling its hair out at failing to sign that elusive forward, I started a thread saying how I thought we could challenge for the title.

First three was poch I think you will find that' why we hired him amongst other obvious reasons.
Last one is highly overrted.

But now we're not challenging for the title we should have spent more?

This thread is useless without wages. I really don't understand what some fans expect, it's like taking your kids to a toy shop and watching them stamp their feet, fucking embarrassing. Grow up.

I think all of us can agree that challenging the billionaire clubs was always a tough battle.

I think we have an exceptionally talented squad and one that can continue to perform in a top four level.

It isn’t about us falling out of the title race, let’s be honest the quality of our football this season has been pretty poor and difficult to watch. Liverpool and Stoke at home are the notable exceptions. We have a brilliant coach who makes the team more than the sum of its parts but at some point he needs to be given better tools to do the job.

The truth is I think we are top 4, we have no right to challenge for the tittle but we are clearly underperforming this season for whatever reason.

Last season we finished 2nd and scored the most and let in the least. I tihnk the players are better than you are giving them credit.

This season has been disapointing in the league but I think there are bigger factors than squad quality involved.
I also believe come the end of the season we'll have improved a lot.

We do have a good squad which is not performing as well this time for a variety of reasons I don't wish to sound negative but top four this time I think is beyond us this time.

I hope you are right but I can’t help admiring glances at City and Liverpool’s front lines.

I still think we'll get top four.

I said at the beginning of the season our home form at a new ground would cause us issues. I think injuries to Alderweireld and Wanyama are especially difficult for us.

Every team has bad seasons for various reasons but I think we are in a strong position.

The answer is nothing different at all
All the scouts know about eg: Greizman we could bid for him and offer him good wages but then the schites manures and goonies will also bid we may offer 100/150k wages not bad I hear you say but then the agent tells the others and they will double it so he isn't coming here that filters down in till we are at the what's left stage.
By now anyone the greedy shits do not want (or need) will be large gambles and maybe's.
Some may turn good most won't it's what the mancs chavs etc have turned football in to I see little our scouts can do about it to be fair apart from hip fire and hope for the best :(

Bingo!

This is the point, attacking players command higher wages, that's nothing to do with scouting...at all.
