No he wasn't!

think berbatov scored 2 in his second game vs sheffield utd and was man of the match.

mancini trying to play italian style football in the premiership.

besides tevez and toure yaya none of their players would get in our team

basically i think its time these clowns gave our squad players and spurs some major credit instead of saying how shit our left back/goalkeeper is, start praising the likes of BAE, Gomes, JJ etc instead of going on constantly about VDV or modric when it comes to spurs.

we arent a 1 man, 2 man, or 3 man team we are a 25 man team:bowdown:

On Sunday Supplement today they were saying exactly that. Shaun Custis actually singled out BAE for praise, and said he's an excellent full-back who doesn't get the praise he deserves.

It was rather nice listening to people on tv who actually watch a lot of teams for 90 minutes rather than Liverpool for 90 minutes and 30 seconds of Spurs.

Kolarov might - he looks a cracking player and I'm saying that as a big BAE fan.

As for Berba, he scored a tap-in within 10 minutes of his home debut against Sheff Utd but don't think he scored again in the league until we beat Wigan 3-1 that November. After that he got better and better but his first 2 months with us were quiet in the Prem, though he did put in some great early performances in the (then) Uefa Cup.

No he didn't, he scored 1. JJ scored the other with a cheeky dink past Kenny after being put through.

Though talk that it was touch and go as to weather Berba was gunna make it with us are equally wide of the mark. He didn't set the world alight domestically, but he started strong in Europe straight away (anyone remember his goal against Besiktas in October, or his brace at home to Brugge in November?). It was this form that helped him settle domestically, and he was pretty much brilliant from the moment he swung a right boot and scored that fantastic volley at home to Boro in December :)

From what I can remember after the sheffield Utd game in August Berba didn't score in the league again until November and some of the papers were starting to question his ability.

I think there are a few other players from City who might get in our team - Dzeko instead of Crouch for one and I'm not sure who Harry would pick if it was a choice between Hart and Gomes - but put Tevez and Yaya in our team and we'd be challenging for the title. Although to be fair to City if you put Bale and Modric in their team they would be much closer to United now.

Kolarov is a shite left back. Nice shot, decent cross but has no pace and isn't too fussed about defending.

Note how he will never play lb when they play a good team, same goes for Jerome 'FLOP' Boateng.

Here in Oz there has been so much emphasis on Bale since the two Inter games that some people in the pub were even referring to us as 'Gareth Bale' e.g. "Are you watching Milan vs Gareth Bale next week?". With this in mind, I'm over the moon that we've done this without him and that people can see that we're not just a one man team. We knew it anyway, but many others didn't.

indeed, Bale is amazing, and he has been a huge asset, when fit the team naturally looks to channel alot through him and i hope he stays with us for the rest of his career. but but under redknapp we are not and never have been a one man team, we were ticking along just fine before he burst on the scene, we have amazing midfield players especially, massive depth, im sure must people outside of us havent got a flipping clue who Sandro is, but tonight they know he is a great young holding midfield player
