I'm in Amsterdam so if I want to keep up I'm gonna have to be raped for roaming charges...Or I suppose I could take advantage of free wifi in a "coffee shop". If Frazier Campbell scores today I'm gonna kick a prostitute in the fanny

On a side note, did the Amsterdam arena tour yesterday and the guide seemed to think highly of spurs and no sourness that we've taken their best players for the last two years!

Surely there will be a bar or something showing the game?

Finally managed to nab two tickets for this match - my first Spurs game in years so I'm completely stoked!

Only problem is I'll be situated with the Cardiff fans so if you see a lone person jumping like a lunatic when we score, chances are its me and it'll be nice knowing you all!

From what I've seen it's all united v city. possibly showing arsenal too I think.

If I come across it ill drag the mrs in

If you come across a sports bar they should have both games on, they'll probably just dedicate a small section to the Spurs game. At least that's generally what's happened when I've been abroad (y).

Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho, Townsend, Eriksen, Holtby, Defoe

Bring on Soldado and Lamela to torture a tired defence and get some confidence.

I would also start defoe for this game. Give him the chance he probably feels he deserves and again on tuesday.

What's Soldado done to be relegated behind Defoe?

Defoe's role is super sub and cup roles and two goals against Tromso isn't going to change that.

Soldado hasn't "clicked yet" and its not a case of "being relegated", it's a team game and that means the striker too.

Surely you are joking. Playing our second string striker 3 times in 5 days while you put arguably one of the top 10 proven strikers in the world on the bench.

Did you watch soldado against norwich? He was very good and can only get better and you want to bench him for 3 games in a week.

I really hope you were joking

More putting it out for debate I would say.

I think the point is people need to stop seeing a "strongest " XI or a pecking order. My point was really that we all know JD is good until about Christmas so might aswell get the most out of him now! Ultimately I don't expect him to start but I'm confident in our team whoever lines up.

I think people are underestimating Cardiff here. They've already beaten Man City and almost Everton. We need a full strength squad out there today, minus maybe 1 or 2 who will defo play on tues. I can't believe people are putting out weakened sides when we could easily lose this match. Would much rather play a slightly weakened team in the C1 cup vs Villa.
I reckon 1-0 to us, maybe 2-1, but nothing more, I've been impressed with them this season...

Lloris
Walker Dawson Verts Rose (depending on injury)
Sandro (to deal with Medel), Paulinho
Lamela Eriksen Townsend
Soldado

Totally agree Cardiff is a big tough game will be a very good away victory but by no means a guarantee will also be a good indicator of how we will deal with sides like these on away days.

......................LLoris
Walker, Dawson, Kaboul, Vertonghen

......Sandro/Dembele...Paulinho

Townsend.........Eriksen.......Siggy

.....................Soldado

Lamela needs to start on the right. I'd rather have Townsend come on late in the game if we are losing, so he can possibly make a run or two at a tired Cardiff defense. I just feel that Lamela needs to be integrated fast if we really want to push on for a title run. He's got to get games to make that happen though, and it has to come with Eriksen and Soldado in high pressure situations (not Cup games).

I would like to see Lamela in over townsend, But I picked townsend as I think Lamela playing mid week and not being involved as much it will prob be a little too much too soon.
