Pertaining to our LB issue, we'll be fine for now, especially with Vlad the Impaler ready to play (allowing others to shift positions). It is a bit of a concern imo, but not as critical as some people make it sound.
Hopefully Younes & Capoue will get fit soon (as well as Rose obviously), and then by winter time we can sign a quality LB (and we'll be set for the 2nd half of the season run to secure 4th or 3rd spot in the league).

Chill fellas, we'll be just fine. We're slowly but surely gelling, and becoming a cohesive unit!

This is - at last - the mentality that Martin Jol always wanted. Slow train coming but it's here. Hallelujah!

And surprisingly here comes the internet warrior out to play, lol.

Just check the bedroom door's locked, before you press post reply!

Haha ok start throwing around derogatory comments, then accuse others of being 'internet warriors'. I think we've got a rocket scientist here.

Soldado is off limits.

I think he's bright, has good touch and looks a good player. But I really was expecting more for the money. He is not a 26m Defoe upgrade.

He fucking well is, and some.

1: He's not a greedy fuck
2: He understands the game better
3: He's a team player
4: He can actually pass the fucking ball to someone with the same coloured shirt on
5: He tracks back and tackles
6: He has better ball control than Defoe

Case rested, sewn up and on to Chel$ea.

As others have said: We'd probably have lost this game under Jol, and likely have drawn under Redknapp.

But we are now so dominant, so classy; watching us against teams is like watching Man Utd in the days of Beckham, Keane, Scholes etc; clearly a league above most if not all other teams.

Its reflected by stats like Cardiff not having a single shot on target against us; at home!

Have to credit AVB with the subs; he saw Eriksen was tiring and we weren't able to maintain possession and he decided to bring on Holtby.

What other may have failed to credit him for was the timing of the subs; just enough time so the subs could find their feet in the game and build a crescendo of possession and dominance resulting in a goal and giving Mackay too little time to counter act.

Well done AVB.

I thought Soldado was excellent today. on another day he could have had a hat trick.

you forgot the fact he's able to look along the line and not be offside every 5 minutes (y) i love defoe's attitude and he's been great for us but bobby's just a different level.

I didn't see the game today. But many teams won't pick up maximum points in Cardiff this year. We did.

We have picked up 12 out of 15 available points and we clearly haven't gelled completely.

Chin up chaps, we seem a bit negative considering how strong we are looking.

Totally agree. Even if he doesn't provide £26 million worth of goals come the end of the season he provides so much more to the team in the way that he plays than Defoe or Adebayor did. He'll be worth the money come the end of the season in terms of what he brings to the team instead. He's had little more than half chances and I'm sure if we ever put him through one on one with the keeper he'd show his class.

Great stuff from Paul. Thought Dembele was great, Sigg and Eriksen about on a par, Townsend and Soldado meh. Can't see how Soldado was worth 26m at the moment.

WHAT.THE.FUCK

Seriously, I can seriously see why we paid that money for him.

He is seriously good, and he was seriously good today. I love the fella and sooner or later he is going to banging goals in left right and centre, once his supply line improves.

Anyone who wants to even think about slagging off Soldado needs to have their head examined and shuttled off to local looney bin.

Just happy, we deserved to win that game 10 x over.

Good subs by AvB,

Holtby and Lamela were superb when they come on.

The power and possession is just awesome at times.

7: He is keen on playmaking ability, because he draws defenders away to create space & opportunity for others to score, which is exactly what he did while Holtby - Lamela - Paulinho were linking up for the last-minute goal today!

Case rested, sewn up and on to Chel$ea.

Fixed that for you, buddy. (y)
