Now that my ITK has moved on (allegedly!)....WHY do we think that Berbatov is going to GO? As it is NOW (and with the addition of a few other players) we have a very attack minded 'go forward' team....and one that, if we are to believe other info, will allow Berby to excel even more than previous seasons. As I say...I don't have any firm information to rely on....but surely we are showing mr Bulgaria that we mean business...again...and perhaps we will see his SULK for a few more seasons (and Mr Keane....after the Anfield DEFEAT of the Scousers, which I forecast, again and again.....Good days ahead anyway....COYS!

Check the Goats Grotto

I saw this picture on the Spurs website, an first thing which struck me was that there is a very simmiler picture of Gazza in Italia90, anyone know what I am talking about or am I imagining things?

But Arshavin is the Russian Gazza :)

He's signed then.

Whoppee do. Don't rate him, self hyped, over-rated, arrogant, over-priced piece of crap in my opinion.

Will I cheer when he scores or sets up goals for us. God damnit, yes I will.

Will I get annoyed when he says in yet another interview how good he is, how he's the next big thing blah blah blahdey blah, yes.

Welcome. Now prove me wrong and let your football do the talking.

Arsenal knew how good Bentley was that's why they didn't want hm to go in the first place but he made it clear he wanted out so they tried to get as much for him as they could, That is why they put in the sell on clause.
Clever business move but it does emphasize that Bentley rejected arsenal not the other way around, perhaps we should call the arseanal fans Bentley rejects.
- News for Hertford, Ware and the surrounding area

The 23-year-old former Arsenal star who grew up as a Spurs fan has said he would like to leave Blackburn following the departure of Mark Hughes to Manchester City.

understandable really.

Just seen him in the press conference in our new black kit, seems very happy to have signed. Think he'll do really well for us, Ramos said he has exquisite touch and excellent technical abilities.

I think it was a very good move of the club to call the press conference as it put us back in the driving seat in terms of what stories are getting into the press. I thought he came over brilliantly - very articulate and ecstatic to be with us. It was our version of the Robbie at Liverpool PC only ours was better of course. I loved the bit where he said that he knew other clubs like Liverpool were in for him but he didn't even want to talk to them - he just wanted to come to us. I think that that, and the fact that he was a Spurs fan, are the reasons for the PC. It certainly made me feel great.

Think this is a bit harsh, I think he's a good player but not international class, it will be nice to have another options at free kicks corners though.

His PR/Agent or who ever is responsible for his image needs sacking though. The public image of DB is that of someone who loves himself and belives his own hype. Seemed a nice enough chap in his puma interview though, although few dodgy answers !

Was he a Spurs fan though?? Thought he was a gooner, some Ar5e fans saying that he is on one of their dvd's saying how he grew up watching games on North Bank or something loke that.

Not that it bothers me 1 bit, after all Defoe was a Gooner and Bergkamp a Spurs fan when they were young.

First thing to do when you join a club is get the fans on side.

I think, first and foremost, Bentley is a David Bentley fan.

You can tell he's not had a pre season like our lads yet, he's miles behind Jenas and Ledley in that pic.

I don't see a problem with being arrogant to be honest.

Bentley is Premiership proven and has been far more creative than any of our midfield over the past 2 seasons, at 23 he will only get better too. I think he's another perfect aquisition as we strive to make our midfield more creative and diverse instead of relying solely on Lennons runs and then getting pissed off at him when his crosses don't meet a man.

FANTASTIC signing!!! I was massively impressed with him last season and every time on MOTD or whatever watching blackburn they always looked a threat as his dead ball ability and natural delivery were and are spot on. Reminded me alot of Beckham when he was in his prime, however Bentley is more 2 footed. Still quite young and has many years ahead of him. As much as I like Lennon, Bentley is twice the player he is at the moment. He got 11 assits both last season and the season before that and chipped in with a good amount of goals for a midfielder.

Thought he especially stood out last season where he looked consistently a threat. Really think he is a fantastic signing. More excited about him than any other signing we've made! Also Whoever we have up front will love his deliver and if Berby stays he and or Bent could both get 20goals+ with the service from our new look midfield. Ask Santa Cruz Bentley was part of the reason why he did so well last season.

And 15million is a respectable fee. He is virtually a 1st team england international, proven premiership player and only 23. GREAT SIGNING and just what we need :)
