I'll judge Poch when he actually has the players he wants as opposed to making some of our average players better. He has inherited a team and from a poor start we have improved. If you can't see that then.....well......
At the same time, he went right to Southampton and didn't really buy anyone and had them playing much better team football than we did.

Well, that was absolutely abysmal.

I am staggered at how bad we are defensively. Poch was a CB - why isn't he focusing on that?

And I can't help but feel that our subs would be improved if we just pulled them out of a hat. Or went with a Twitter vote. They simply couldn't be any worse than the decisions Poch has been making.

I've been saying all season long Pochettino has done nothing to convince me he is as good as some one here would have you believe. Now we've had some poor performances, I want to know what all those with the glass half full mentalities think.

We are poor to average, simple as. On our day when everyone turns up and presses like a mad man for 90 minutes we can get a result vs a good team. But that is not possible over four competitions in a long season.

Had Kane not emerged, we wouldn't be any better than mid table. Poch does NOT have us playing good football. Look at how many goals we score off corners and free kicks as opposed to open play. Eriksen and Kane shine in some games and know how to score goals, fair play to them. Chadli had a run too. Once Kane's golden boy effect wears off we are done (it may be starting too). But we are not playing good football.

I got slagged off for saying this in a few threads, but it is now ringing more and more true with every game.

Should be Poch's team talk before the Cup Final (y)

So presuming Chelsea are in the champs league next year does that mean we are guaranteed Europa again? Oh joy!

at least its now and not the 1/4 or the 1/2 final which is an extra 4 and 8 games extra. No excuses for patchy league form now, only one thing to concentrate on and thats league football which a fully fit squad to choose from. We need Cl football because I Cant continue to watch us in the europa.

Again soldado had my faith for some reason... but tonight it is gone, nothing more than a statue

Yeah what a drag going further in a cup competition
Don't worry after Sunday we can concentrate on finishing 6 in the league and not worry about our precious players playing more than one game a week

Mate, you are making a choice between shit and shit.

Wake the fuck up...

What you made, was the most pointless statement in the world.

Ade needs to fuck off like almost every player we have.

So I ask you this question. Who gives a flying fuck about who is better between two sacks of shit?

(I still like Soldado personally, I just think he is fucked playing for us)

Go back and read the fucking post you quoted

Then you might realise why people should care who is less shit out of the two

2 seasons? That's all you can say.
pretty hard to do anything when your injured for the best part of a season. Don't let that get in the way though.
I'm just stating a fact. Fine. Base it on this season only. He's still predominantly ineffectual aside from games against Burnley and QPR at home. He gives away the ball almost as much as he does fouls and seems to have no knowledge of where defenders are. Other than that he has scored a few goals in the Europa league.

I was pleased when we signed him based on reports from an italian friend of mine, but from what I have seen he offers little or nothing. If the feeling is that he might develop I would loan him out next season. Otherwise I would sell him and buy someone else.

He played or was available for the first four months of last season, plenty of time to adapt.
This year he had a full preseason, no WC to tire him out, I expected more.
The old this is his first real season, is laughable.

Exactly. I thought this season our players were incredibly fit. That's why we score so many late goals, never give up. Tonight, we just gave up. I'm so mad, i would be tempted to drop everyone who didn't perform tonight on Sunday. Play our second team if needs be. Really shocking how we have lost confidence so quickly.

Yep, we're super fit when we win, but too tired when we lose!
