We should all let him know how much we want him, as the scums fans are really slating us to him.
His twitter account is @jan_vertonghen.

Let's let him know we are THE team he should be signing for.

Shit, we could do this for several players? Let's create a small army of Twitters and harrass some top players until they give in:)

Can't find the guy I originally saw say it, who had quite a few followers so maybe a bit of credibility but this following guy reckons he knows something apparently.

Andre Mitrovski@AaronLennon10
Vertonghen's deal is 100% Done. Sources from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

Javi Martinez would be one of the two perfect fit replacements for Modric (the other being Ever Banega)

Really like him as a player, would have no hesistation to ditch Huddlestone for this guy and he would be good as an alternative to Modric. For the squad having centre mids of Modric, Sandro, Parker and Banega plus Livermore as backup would be very strong. I remember we were linked last summer but nothing came of it.

Shame he has broken legs at the mo, so cant see him going anywhere this summer either!

Far more likely that Modric will go before Huddlestone I would have thought

And if Luka does go, I can see only one viable player in terms of quality and availability to come in, and that's Sahin who's struggled to get a game at R Madrid.

Nope, I despise it. Have to use it though as part of my course, seeing as I have a social media module!

I agree, Sahin would be a great fit and must be some what available as RM hardly play him. Kovacic is surely only a season away from a big move and he's definately someone we should consider too. Martinez would be exceptional but I'm pretty sure he's out of our range now.

I like Huddlestone and i hope we persist with him, I had a feeling he was just about to really kick on development wise when he got injured. His display against Young Boys in the CL qualifiers was probably one of the most impressive displays I've seen from a Spurs player. His introduction instantly killed their momentum and put us in the the game... if not the driving seat. The 'gutsy' moneyball option is undoubtably sell Modric, use the money on two attackers and utilise a fully fit Huddlestone next season.

Back to the topic - get it done Dan!! I want him in the stands on Sunday!
