Kaka is still a class act despite the injuries and other difficulties he's had at RM.

If he gets his next move right, i.e. it's purely a footballing decision, people will soon realise how graceful and effective a footballer he can still be. Best number 10 since Zidane.

If he was still the business Milan would be back in for him. Undoubtably a great player (once?) but not what we are about now. We are about talent, competition, hard work, and 100% commitment.

Seen the article in Goal.com....looks like Kaka is available....would love to see him joining our club....Still think he has got the talent...will add experience and quality - do we have more funds for it ? I doubt....but if his price is 10 mil or less might worth the risk.

he hasn't lost his turn of pace from what I saw last season. Unless it went over the summer. if you're looking at it on pure ability he would be a good signing. I can understand why people wouldn't want him though.

Bet he regrets Madrid. I really don't get why players move there (ignoring the pay rise) when they're simply chewed up and spat out once Real deems them surplus to reqs. I'd imagine the same is gonna happen to our gareth.

Yes, RM is a shredding machine to talented players...seems to be that only the Ego maniacs feet the system there.

It is staggering how people think it would be a good idea to hold up the progress of younger players, by buy signing a 31 year old well past his best. He would be such a backward thinking signing, it is not going to happen,

This is a signing that we would have made, 3, 4 or 5 years ago. We've moved on from it now. It's not arrogant, but we are looking at going in a different way. This is why I wanted Soldado or Benteke over Villa and was happy enough to say so.

We are building a squad of young hungry, talented players. A player like Kaka, as good as he maybe still is, would halt the growth of these young players. I am pleased that we are past these type of signings now. Stop gap ones.

He was once a great player and which ever club he goes to I wish him luck. It was a pleasure watching him once glide across the pitch. :)

Yep, I think signing for Real the same season Ronaldo signed was the beginning of the end for him.

Seriously, when was the last game you watched him in and thought 'wow, he's back to his best'?

Big name, yes but not what we need at all at this current moment in time.

With Bale going to Real, and Spurs also having cooperation with Real Madrid, we should be able to do a deal for Kaka. If he wants to join us, I would be positive to get him in. I like to sign players who have been out of shape, not in form, lack of scorings, etc, etc... You should always consider players like that.
