A back line containing Otamendi, Mangala, Delph - should at least have a go at that. Shame their new GK is 10 times better than the clowns they had last year

No Silva is big. Immense player for them

Love this lineup. Fuck sitting back and countering them. Come out swinging, press them back and fight them. Make them try and defend for a change.

our only hope is that City are a bit complacent after beating Utd and being so far ahead, but I doubt Pep will let them
Well last week he refused to take part in the celebrations so I think you're right . Just hope it's gone to their players a little bit. A 5% drop in effort could be the difference.

4 at the back with no obvious DM. Could well be another Poch blunder in a big game. Hope not.

If we lose it's not because of a 'poch blunder' ffs. It's we lose because we're playing a team backed by a country

Just get behind the team rather than peddling some agenda

I’m usually not confident against a Top 6 side away from home but I’m very confident today that we can win. Either that or I’m sick.

Taking two seconds to think might have been a good idea. We have two defensive midfielders, Wanyama & Dier. Wanyama is still injured and we need Dier in that "4 at the back" central defence because we have two unavailable central defenders, who would otherwise be starting in a back 3. Not difficult.

I thought Rose might start when Davies was brought on for a few minutes against Brighton and so breaking the rotation.
It wasn't Rose's turn to play today and he should not be getting the choice games until he commits to the club. He isn't prepared to sit on the bench and would have mouthed off to the press if he had missed out.
Short term this is the right decision as Rose is playing well, but MP is storing up trouble for himself.

As good as Davies is he'd get done for pace by Walker. Rose will at least contest him in that area. It's the right selection short term and long term, picking the best team for each match.

We really are the underdogs- so give it your best shot boys and let`s see. Like someone wrote, Poch has picked the best team available against this financial monster ( although would have preferred Aurier against Sane)-so let`s keep the critical shit out of it please

Being able to defend doesn't necessarily mean having 5 defenders. It can mean moving a man up to help with the midfield battle. Although our hand has been forced somewhat, this is a sensible way to get our best personnel out there.

Every team that has played them this year has that mentality. It’s infuriating. City are bullies. I’ve seen team after team sit way deep, play scared, and predictably get rolled over. You have to do what you do to a bully. Fight them back. If we lose, we lose. At least we put up a fight. At least we’re not fucking United.

With no Toby Sanchez or Wanyama there isn't much choice is there?

The right 11 for this game. Alli and Rose are right choices. Hope we press high up the pitch.
