Welcome to the Man Utd Vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

Nothing to do with our Leeds or Man City results and performance, but for months I have had good feeling about this particular fixture. Lets hope my instincts are correct

Got a bad feeling about this game. Man U is in some serious trouble right now and it's at home for em. The place will be bubbling over in anxiety and anger after their derby and recent performances.... Just got a weird feeling about this one.

Sounds like a job for Dr Tottenham.

Reggie in, and we're good to go. No idea what United will turn up. Looking forward to the game, COYS

Do they have the likes of Shaw and Varane back for this one?

As it’s in the week before we play them, wonder how long before we get the usual hype in the media about Manu wanting to buy one of our players (Kane maybe)?

I'm sure United would love to buy Kane, he'd probably improve them more than he would City. Though the lesser improvement for City might be just enough to win them CL.
Let's hope Kane's head is turned sufficiently to nod in our winner

Good time to play them away from home. Their fans will be on their backs from the first second, putting alot of pressure on them to take the game to us which will suit us perfectly. If thats how it pans out I can see us thrashing them in all honesty.

I think a draw would be ok it's difficult for us to keep winning and overtake our rivals.
Yep, a draw would be fine and see us on course for top 6.
I gave up on top 4 a long time ago. Of course if we win then there will be a lot of talk that top 4 is back on, but not from me.

I think top four is done mate we are not able to put a consistent run of games together to put other clubs under pressure top six is ok.

We’ll see, I think Saturday may literally be the first time we have put out full starting 11 since conte joined, bar maybe skipp, who I think we are fine without as long as winks doesn’t play. I think with a decent rest and United lacking confidence it’s a game we will win with the Oreo time, but hopefully varane, ronaldo shaw are still injured to help us.
the key questions with be when we then play Brighton and West Ham in quick succession with limited rest. But Brighton are woefully out of form currently so might help. We have only really struggled when we have had limited rest so that’s the biggest test I think. Win Saturday I do think we’ll kick on, we’ll have won 3 league games on the trot and win 4 out of our last 5 which puts us in good stead.
Now everyone is basically fit let’s see how we get on as it’s our first chance to see how good we actually are,

I dont want a draw. We should be going out there and putting them to the sword. As Conte says, which I whole heartedly agree, we need to follow up a win with another win... we cant go out there and drop points. I think the Everton win will have given us that oomph to go on

I cant wait for the game

Would be a huge win if we can pull it off on Saturday night but won't be easy with United needing to bounce back after their defeat to City. They played pretty well first half but not sure what happened in the second half, so they are capable of playing well. Win this and it'll be a shootout between us and Arsenal for 4th, with the NLD (whenever the hell it is gonna be) being huge.

The abuse that Winks gets on here is disgusting.
He doesn't pick himself
but several managers have
including ones rated as top rank.
and he's most likely doing his best.
He may not have developed how we would have liked
or how he woiuld have liked for that matter
and may not be quite good enough for us now
but the random insults are a disgrace.

They could literally play into our hands if we let them have the ball, I fear teams like Burnley and those sit back. United will come at us.
