Kane, the only player from our midfield and attack who actually wants to move the ball forward. So frustrating.

Do we ever concede a goal that isn't a horrendous individual error? I thought Lloris was passed this but clearly not.
Obviously not.
Even if goals aren’t individual errors, but great bits of skill (not that this one was) we will always play the blame game and make it into an individual error

The problem is Lloris doesn't have another capable keeper pushing for his spot. I think he's just too comfortable

Bentacur has impressed me…. They are there for the taking on the break, just need to avoid the stupid giveaways and mistakes…

I think how important the wing backs are to Conte’s tactics make Sessegnon and Emerson look even worse than they are. Such a specific player that is needed there - our scouting will have to be spot on in the summer

Not the worst first half.

Another mistake though but I think we all expect that nowadays.

Think they'll go on to win it.

Oh come on!
Even if we could genetically modify Peter and Kasper Schmeichel into a singular Tottenham super-being, with our defence and mental fragility, we would still concede goals.

1-1 away to arguably the best team in the planet and you’d think we were being thumped by a mid-table side (again…) by some of the comments in here

Aye, it’s not been pretty and we need to be braver on the ball and counter, but the pressure they exert is ridiculous; when you win the ball back on the edge of the box they have another player there, and when the ball comes in, it’s always with utmost quality.

We’ve done well so far. Keep defending strongly, and take the chances when they come.

This isn’t a dog at Conte but this performance so far is indistinguishable from us under mourinho.

It’s about cattle innit. Romero is a definite upgrade. Bentancur and Kulu show promise. But as we all know we need at least 3 more quality players just to get closer
Do we actually have a choice? We are just not good enough to attack City and considering the terrible form we are in at the moment, this comes as no surprise.

Had the better chances. If Son had his boots on the right feet we could be in front. Defending well though.
Emerson in the final 3rd is soooo bad. And he's seen more of it than anyone else.
Get 2 decent wingbacks and this team improves 40%.

Sess is really lightweight, gets knocked off the ball so easily. Davies is entirely one footed. He simply refuses to use his right foot when under pressure. Ends up putting others under pressure. We need people to fight and take responsibility if we want anything from this game. Poor mistake from Lloris, he bottled that. 3 mistakes in 2 games. If we want to finish as high as we can, we need to cut out these mistakes.

We look deadly on the counter though, Kane is another level at the moment. We need to feed him the ball more.
