I have grown numb to the feeling of not winning anything - I dont carry any such expectation with this club anymore. So, I am far more relaxed on a day like today.
Boro deserved to win fair & square. We were just 2nd best all over the park.

I cant wait for us boot Hojbjerg & Winks back to bench where they belong. Both atrocious today. And as for as Sonny - he gets a pass today but he needs competition. How can he be the unchallenged no7 for past 6 years ? Same like Kane, we need replacments.

Only way to avoid complacency is bringing in competition - Son Hobjerg Winks should have never played 60min let alone 120min - only reason they werent subbed was because we had no reasonable option on bench
why? he's been average at best for months.

Winks needing 3 or 4 touches of the ball before making a pass (in any direction really) but by the time he'd taken them the forward pass was gone.

Hojbjerg wasn't great at releasing the ball forwards at the right time either.

Bentancur may not be up to speed yet but we badly need him and Skipp back.

Doherty is not a professional footballer I don't care what anyone tries to argue otherwise, whoever's decision to sign him should be enough to get the sack!

Royale I'm not seeing any traits that would make me understand signing him.

Sonny had a crap game (TBH I still don't think he's fit, certainly not 3 games a week fit)

Kane had a really leggy game that shows up why not signing another striker is such a massive bit of malpractice from a professional football club.

hes been better last few weeks in his defese, but yes still very poor.

I still believe we can beat anyone and accept we can lose to anyone.
Well we still can't beat anyone in a final nor an fa cup semi final which is now up to nine in a row and a record.
I agree we can and do lose to anyone, however the hope is one day it will all be over and we become a respected and feared club unlike what we are now.

We had that, not that long ago. But then we booted the guy that gave us it.

There used to be a football club over there, etc etc...

IMO it’s the way we lose that really hurts, if we had a go & lost it wouldn’t be so bad.
Just can’t believe that the team we saw on Tues was the same team (I know not exactly the same) that drew with Pool & beat Man Shitty with performances we could be proud of. Even the Leicester performance was much better, despite the late goals turning the game, than the Wolves, Southampton & Borough nightmares.
Maybe it is because we need more time to prepare but are we really that unfit/unprepared to at least put a shift in.

Probably but there was nothing there from anyone as often is the case.
We lack consistency but are consistent in under performing and achieving.
