He looks great - at 18 its fair enough to ease him in gently and it's clear Poch is the right man to do that. He is obviously rated very very highly in the club though.

I actually don't think he looks that raw tbh. Moves very elegantly with his head up. Not everything done at 100mph. I would say N'jie looks more raw to me. More importantly is his name pronounced o-no-ma or honor-ma

He was doing things last night which made me realise that he's going to be a special player.

Yes. He never panicked. A great sign in a player so young. Maybe one could say he snatched at his chance in the 2nd half but eh, seemed maybe he rushed it a little and scuffed it but then these things are expected. I've seen fat Ronaldo sky the odd open goal chance. What really stood out is that game never seemed to fast for him which is quite often the case with inexperience.

I'm super excited. I await the first real sighting of Pritchard eagerly. Gimme more!

He just made things look very easy.

Always made room, even in tight spots, and generally showed really impressive decision making.

Seems just as happy to play one touch off the outside of his boots as he does holding play up until the right options present themselves.

As his power increases, he's going to become a hell of a player. Can see him becoming a really dominant force in the future.

agree and it's the latter.

Agree one think him and Winks do well is dribble with their head up. Not many actually do that. Also I've always pronounced it O-No-Mah. Funny. I'm not Ghanaian so won't profess to know. How sure are you?

Saying that some old guy moaning at everyone yesterday said, "I've always been a fan of Oo-new-mah" then later shouting 'Oo-new-Mah you're being casual'

Funnily enough it's the one thing I said could ruffle feathers. He actually presses really well, though yesterday he could have got around better, but he may have been tired pressing for 90mins for the first time, but he plays in a style that seems lazy and I reckon he'll cop quite a bit of flak for it

just going by how his name has always been pronounced on spurs tv interviews etc so you'd think they'd get it right ... then again. only times I've heard it said as o-no-mah is on other teams' broadcasts like cfc/lfc/mutv where they're more likely to just be guessing.

There are not many players who are the finished article at 18.
TBF I would add that yesterday he wasn't playing his usual game and suffered a lot when he was out on the wings which doesn't bring the best out of him. He is a player who loves space to drive forward(the byline limits him) and also needs players to be in front of him to find.

Also was a bit more greedier than usual but I think thats because he was desperate to get a goal on his debut

I thought he was of Nigerian descent.

I'd have Onomah in front of Chadli at the moment.
Quicker of mind and touch, more fluid in his movement.
Obviously would need to add goals/assists to justify this over time but I think there is enough there already to justify his inclusion in the matchday 16.

I know it sounds harsh, and a little disloyal, to players such as Nacer but I think we need to look at clearing a path to the starting eleven for our academy products to ensure they don't go anywhere at 18. Plus the money can go towards those positions the academy cannot provide for.

As much as I like chadli for his goals and assists I think he is all wrong for us in a high press system, we play better as a team when he is not playing IMO

Yea good stuff.

Also give me a player who plays with his head up and I'll give you a great player.

Adebayor's parents were both born in Nigeria and moved to Togo. They are from the Yoruba tribe.
Im sure adebayor had some connection to ghana, I know he has some family there

Everyone knows that Adebayor comes from no country, he is a product of juju itself, like how Anakin Skywalker is a child of the Force.

I agree, I think the system calls for much more dynamism which a lot of our academy players possess and a lot of our previous squad didn't which is why Poch opted for players such as Lamela, Mason and Kane then bought in Alli, Njie and Son.

Having seen a fair bit of the academy sides most of those lads play at a much higher tempo so are already suited to the new regime. For me, Chadli doesn't have the movement and Townsend doesn't have the passing game whereas Onomah has both.
As a result I would rather Josh got the odd 20 minutes and cup games to develop rather than Chadli or Townsend.

They need to be playing games and not playing second fiddle to an 18 year old so it would be best all round for them to look at moving on at some point.
