I dont get why any Spurs fan would be unhappy that Dawson is staying at the Club, he's our Captain and for good reason. I've noticed an anti-english players vibe amongst some fans and its pathetic tbh. I bet if his name was Dawsinho you would think he's the dogs bollocks .

So you "dont think Dawson is a 'good' footballer" yet AVB clearly thinks he is better than Caulker, so (using that logic) what does that make Caulker? Less than 'good'? Average? not 'good' enough? I like Caulker but at age 21, he's not going to turn into a Ledley King overnight, or maybe I've just got things wrong, and you know more about football than AVB.

Sorry to disappoint. I stumbled upon it when following a load of links for Bully gets owned by victim, via a discursive visit to a crayzee Irish Travellers bare-knuckle fighting fued thang. Well no. AVB had sold Dawson to QPR but he didn't want to go. With Kaboul out we needed experience so he came back in.

Of course at this stage Dawson is the more experienced player he's pushing 30, but Kaboul will be back, Jan has had a full season and Id prefer Dawson not to be ahead of Caulker for the next spot.

You may well rate Dawson, but I think for every heroic block he makes, its usually his poor positioning that causes it. He's also crap with his distribution.

If nobody had an opinion on the manager's decisions we'd barely have a forum so think about your logic the next time you criticise the manager for something.

Dawson maybe "touching 30" but I'm willing to have a bet with you that he'll be at Spurs longer than Caulker. Kaboul is quality but I dont think the Club will just assume he's going to be fit all season after such a bad injury, it could take 6 months before we see the best of Kaboul. As for your last point, yes we can all bitch and moan about team selections ect ect, but when you look at the season as a whole, it's clear who the better player is, and you might not like it but its not Caulker.
