Cerny had a good game - as usual bit flakey on the kicking

MOTM Lennon for me -

Berbs 2nd best player

Keane probably lowest mark (a 5 I reckon)

overall a good/very good game - entertaining end to end played in the right spirit (by us anyway :) and we should have had a deffo pen

Influenced by your current crusade DC?

Personally, i'm in line with what's currently afflicting the team when it comes to ratings. I shall give them all a 'meh' out of ten

yep both Sky and Setanta have made Lennon MOTM -

Berbs has got a 7 from Sky 6.5 Setanta and 7.7 player rater from BBC (MOTM)

JJ got a 7 from Setanta along with Steed

probably an average of the ratings will see Lennon top Berbs 2nd (so I'm not too biased) JJ in the middle - but to be fair with Robbie he probably will be in the mid ratings too - (so maybe I'm being a bit hard on him)

I fail to see how Steed would have gotten a 7, atm he is just an unproductive midfielder, 5 at best for me and the 5 is for his usual fantastic work rate.

However atm he is as productive in the final 3rd as Zokora is, difference is though Zokora is not meant to provide assists/goals where as Steed is. We can't afford two unproductive midfielders in the same team and it is hurting us down the left.

I know Steed is not being played in his best position ( like a couple others today ) , but he still needs to produce his fair share of assists/goals to earn his place, work rate is not the primary reason he is in the team, that is just a bonus, we didn't buy him for that, but because we needed an attacking midfielder

Lennon ( 7.5 ) Motm for me too, the others a 5 or 6

good comments Oz - certainly no 7 for me and yep Steed needs to deliver more product

deffo think Berbs at least a 6.5 tho - I'd go 7

I liked the way on BBC - the commentator said Berbs couldn't miss - maybe he couldn't - but plenty of players could and do miss from positions like that and easier

We are definitely carrying both Malbranque and Keane because both of them are badly out of form and have been for about 4 or 5 weeks!
Lennon played well today and even Bruce said after the game that Spurs were one of the best teams to play on that crap pitch!

In his 1st season, Chimbonda was an honest grafter, worked his socks off for the team for the whole 90 mins...and everyone was singing the praises.

Next season, we go and buy a RB when we already have a capable one in Hutton, and who's to say Hutton wont act the same as Chimbo? I would too, because its not that I was playing badly or anything.

Thats why I say Hutton does NOT provide anything better than what Chimbo provides.

I have been away all weekend so missed our match completely. Glad to hear our pint sized winger performed well. Can you tell me what it was he did that was so worthy of praise please DC?

Seriously? From what I have seen I would say Hutton is a far more accomplished defender. Chimbo looks good going forwards but gets caught out of position far too often for my liking

I can tell ya.....Put simply he was going past his fullback ..then going past the next defender , causing panic dribbling right into the Wigan area . He assisted the goal too .

Best performance of the season from him....stung by adverse criticism in the press maybe  ?
