Some fans were on his back from the start because he wasn't an 'exciting' signing. But he's technically excellent, works his socks off and has a decent finish on him. If he hadn't been injured he'd have been a success for us.

Yeah I agree with his work rate, every time I saw him play I thought of an energizer battery. Not too sure about "technically excellent" though. I think he is a good player

Leighton Baines always looks like he's just slipped through a wormhole in time from the 1940's!

Can't believe Levy isn't all over that deal tbh, right up his street.

Ba was very good last night against Arse. Chelsea will be very dangerous with him up top instead of Torres.

The way 'the Toon' have been talking about his release clause all the time makes me think they want shot of him, which in turn makes me think there's something not quite right with him. I hope Chelsea do sign him and then he explodes in Abramovich's face. Literally.

Slightly delayed comment but Cech's save from Jelavic in the first half was one of the best i've seen in a long time. Fantastic.

Echoes of Modric in Piennar. Not in the same class but closer than anyone we have left at Spurs. What a player to let go!
