Only complaint was Alli fluffing that chance by trying to be too fancy. He'll need to get his edge back for Dortmund.

Sissoko played very well, but my dear he lacks a final touch of quality - messed up every opportunity for a goal or assist slightly.
Alli not playing against Dortmund he is suspended first three CL games for the sending off against Gent

Very good performance by everyone at Everton but we need to transfer this level of play to Wembley , our main problem is that every visiting team and fan treats a game at Wembley as a cup final . Sissoko playing central gives us more midfield options and running power if only he could improve his touch.

Everton were good away to City so it's not just a case of catching them at a good time.

I really do think playing Sissoko centrally was significant in causing them problems. Thought his movement was very good, and we always looked liked we had a spare man all over the pitch.

Yes Everton weren't great but we obviously contributed to that.

If Sissoko is to be used effectively this is where we must play him, as that really gives us another option and actually strengthens our depth in this area of the pitch.

I'd love to see him deployed like that on the big pitch at Wembley. There's plenty of technical quality around him, but his powerful runs through the middle could cause lots of problems for opposing sides.

Eriksen for me. Sissoko caused them headaches in midfield and as a result Eriksen found space all over the place. Such an intelligent player. Hopefully we've found a role for Sissoko although he'd still be way down my list of CM preferences. Sanchez is going to be a monster as well. Very easy debut for him but he's hardly kicked a ball with us yet. Just wait til Poch, Toby and Verts have worked with him.

This should be one of the closest votes ever:

  1. Davies
    105 vote(s)
    37.4%
  2. *
    Eriksen
    107 vote(s)
    38.1%
At the time of replyimg to this post

Davies 111

Eriksen 113

If I was to change my vote from Eriksen to Davies it would be a dead heat. Not going to do that though!
