From Sky's Geoff Peters to Poch: " For a club with no new ground, no new players, you're doing quite well".

Mmm, more like a club with 3 grounds.

Game changed as soon as Moose got control of that midfield. Lucas will get the plaudits but Dembele made the difference imo.

Jan held it together as best he could first 30 then Toby decided to turn up like we know he can.

Dembele is a wizard in midfield unbelievable on his day

Moura MOTM, Alli second choice. I absolutely love this Alli... Playing deeper means he is a lot more involved in and off the ball.

Lucas... Works like a beast and finally injects some serious pace into our team.

Game was open and we were definitely lucky to be 0-0 at half time. Neville was right though. United were very aggressive in the first 30 and we made it easy for them by giving the ball away relentlessly. Our movement was too much for them in the 2nd half though and I think we thoroughly deserved to win by a comfortable margin in the end.

Moura MOTM.

Controversial. But Dier is a shit CM
Wow. We have had one of our best results away from home in the prem, best at Utd for 40 years and you are singling a player out as being shit?

Mourinho one of the best managers in modern times by results/trophies has never lost 0-3 at home in his entire career, and we spank his side. But Dier is shit.

I usually take a realistic view of things, but if that was your over-riding thought about this incredible victory, that Dier is shit, then all I can say is you are a very harsh god indeed.

Anyway it was Rose who was shit.

Moura MOTM, but honourable mentions to Toby, Verts, Hugo and Dembele who was average first half but absolutely bossed the midfield in the second.

I also thought Dier had a top class second half as well. A result that will make so many take note

We seem to be giving up a lot chances and tbh we’ve been a tad fortunate to have 9 pts. Anyone have a theory why ? It’s not defensive mistakes, our defenders and Hugo have been saving us with last minute blocks. We seem very exposed infront of the back 4.

Thought Verts and Dele were tops in the first half, and Dier was diabolical. After the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half the ratings went out the window.

MOTM Poch for me. I dont know what he did or said in the dressing room but we were a different side.

The way we played tonight was so good that Pogba, and Sanchez were an irrelevance in the second half, and after Lukaku missed that potential opener he disappeared without trace.

I think that if you took City and Liverpool out of the equation we would be odds on title contenders.

All I can add is this, Man u have got a lot of butt ugly players, I mean , a few of them look like they are on loan from Chernobyl FC with their dodgy eyes, flat heads and elongated limbs a couple have bird like features and another has, possibly, walked out of Frankenstein's lab.
The manager is a parody, and for him, reality is becoming harder to accept let alone deal with rationally.
All that said, I think the game lived up to the old adage, a game of two halves, but any time we beat that lot I get that slightly religious feeling ...when I say "religious" I mean I'm on my knees with my hands clasped together praying out loud..."blow the whistle you ****, quick, before we go all spursy".

MoTM.....Moura. He's really hitting form !

Edit: Anyone else notice how fit Poch looked..lost a bit of weight, shaved, hair done, manicure...yeah! Well fit!

Didnt play that well at all. First half was piss poor. 2nd was definitely far better but really still not close to our best whatsoever. We won 3-0 but honestly it flattered us a bit. They were having their way down the flanks, which is why its baffling Mourinho chose Fellaini over Rashford to bring on(helped us out though). Toby and Hugo saved our skins a bunch. Somehow we could have had more goals. Just a weird one all around but it was in our favor this time for once.

Lloris - 8
Trippier - 5.5
Toby - 8
Jan - 7
Rose - 5.5
Dier - 6
Dembele - 7
Eriksen - 6
Dele - 8
Lucas - 9
Kane - 6.5

We were away from home against a Man U side that literally gave it everything they've got from pressing all the way to crossing at any given moment, piling things on down the wings and all sorts. They played like it was a relegation dogfight and whilst it stifled the tempo we wanted to play at, we adjusted and ended up winning the game 3-0.

Teams do this against us in the Champions League &a people say we need to wise up. We do it and people saw poor performance I honestly don't understand some people. Jose's worst ever defeat at home as a manager and it was our boys, not Barcelona, not Man City, not Juventus that did that it was us. Let's just enjoy it as this gives our season a real boost. This is where the fight kicked in for us tonight it's a massive, massive win

I know what your saying, on paper its one of our best results in years. Cant argue with that.

But the collective team performance over the whole 90 mins wasn't brilliant at all and I agree with yankspurs the result flattered us.
A few outstanding performers and a number that were quite below par.

Dele got into some great positions but wasted several really really good opportunities, seems to be 2nd guessing himself in crucial moments.
I didn't think either Kane or Eriksen were particularly good, our build ups often broke down with poor touches from them.
Thought Trippier, Rose & Dier were all quite poor too.

Lucas Moura was fantastic, easily our most dangerous player. Toby & Jan again showed that they are the best CB in the league.
Once Dembele got into the game in the 2nd half he started to dictate the game. Lloris didn't put a foot wrong.
