If we played this tournament last week it would be fine.
The issue is that we have 2 games in 48 hours, followed by the early kick-off, away from home, on Saturday.
Levy not 100% responsible, but partly to blame.
BT Sport and the PL equally responsible for moving the United fixture.

We have barely kicked a ball this pre season. I'm not sure it's going to have a huge impact, it anything it might help us start quickly against Utd as we are in the game mentality.

I'm sure Poch and the team know what they are doing with these game, I really can't imagine any harm. This time last year we were already in competitive football so we have a bit more time on our side.

Wonder if Bale and Luka will play and if they do will they bother to acknowledge the Spurs fans?

I hope so, since Bale's left us he's not said a word about us (Good or Bad), Luka on the other hand has said he still looks for our results and follows the club and appreciates what we did for him.

Cant remember when and where(earlier this year maybe) but remember Bale being asked something like "Is it nice to be able to watch premiership now without having any allegiances" To which he replied something like "No, I still want Spurs to win and Arsenal to lose"

Can't help but miss him.

He did say that but I also remember him wishing Walcott and Ramsay good luck for the FA Cup final but didn't say/tweet nothing prior our league cup final against Chelsea.

That disappointed me.

If you could have one back, which one would it be?

Luka or Gareth?

I remember reading somewhere that Bale had wanted to send a good luck message on Twitter before the CC final last season- but given his lack of popularity in Madrid at the time his PR team basically said no. I can't remember where I read it or if it was just a rumour...

That smells so much of bullshit though. Why would Madrid care if he sent a message to a team in another league playing a domestic cup. Who could possibly have an issue with that?

Really?

Being a Tottenham fan it still upset me that he wished Arsenal players all the best before the FA cup final.

But as a human being there's nothing wrong wishing your friend luck before a big game.

The Madrid fans that were surrounding his car, confronting him and abusing him during parts of last season.

They really are massive wankers.

But as I said, can'r remember where I read it so could well be bullshit.

I'll go for a 3-0 Madrid. I think we'll see very little of the ball.

Does anyone know if either of the Audi cup matches are definitely going to be shown on the spurs website spurs tv?
Don't really want to sign up to premier if it's already free on our website.

I'm gonna be ridiculously optimistic for no reason.

We're gonna win 1-0 with a ridiculously lucky goal, and then Toby and Wimmer will hold out for 78 minutes.

It will be a good experience for our young squad. Hopefully give them a taste of the level they should be aiming for.

We will get much more from this game then rattling 5 in against some lower league side.
