Valencia set a deadline of the 3rd of August....... that's my birthday...... Soldado is my first choice as a striker and one of my favourate players of the last 5 years or so when he was starting at Getafe! Its an Omen I tell u! I have not seen much of this guy so I am finding it hard to get as excited as some.

I have watched the YouTube clips and checked out his goal record. I can see he's two footed but only around 5"10.

What's style of striker is he? Poacher? Classic CF? Where does he play for Valencia - on his own or with a ST partner?

Any pace? Awareness? Hold up play? Good in the air?

It would be good to he some people's educated views, rather than just the "will he, won't he debate".

It would also be interesting to know how many have actually seen him play, and how many are basing their excitement on the fact he is a "big name" signing.

I am sure he's a good player but I had seen more of Villa, so found it easier to get excited.

Enlighten me.
