Fair play to Everton, they were excellent at times under Martinez and they have already unexpectedly bought back Barry and Lukaku and locked down Barkley (who is only going to get better). No other players look like going out and they have also added Besic.

The PL is gonna be even stronger next season, we need to keep up!

Anything but a significant net spend is essential after the last fee windows.

CB and Schneiderlin absolute minimum. Hopefully a LW/ST on top of it.

Sky Sports still reporting Everton as having "interest" in Lukaku. That's also why they sometimes make me laugh.

Huge money for Everton to spend. Young with massive potential but massive fee all the same.

I think it says a lot that Jose doesn't fancy him and in the last two seasons has not been prepared to give him a chance in spite of Chelsea's problems up top

I think he's a good player but I don't think he will be elite level as he lacks something above and beyond his physical attributes

I think at a team like Everton he will be king but if he was to step up to a CL outfit he would struggle

I personally rate Adebayor above him although obviously he's the young kid with the potential and I guess he's maybe more consistent or is at least going to give 100% every game while Ade is always likely to go missing

It doesn't look like we're even in for Lukaku and most likely he will make Everton his home this summer so probably not worth even discussing him anymore as a potential Spurs signing

Edit: done deal

£28m surely going to cripple them financially over the next couple of seasons. Kenwright seems to have plucked it out of thin air.

Came across this and thought it was interesting. Still got a lot of his game to develop but he could grow (not literally) into a World Class player.

You're including the Belgian league in that. How many has he scored in the Prem?

Yes agree, a better footballer. Don't think he's a better No. 9 though. I know who I'd rather lead the line in our team.
Let's wait and see how Soldado does with a more settled team and proper manager. Lukaku had the benefit of that last season at Everton.

They'd have missed him if they hadn't signed him and Besic is a good player too. I think they'll be strong next year.
